hard to agree with you on the second part on his team being worse.. the enemy team has a halland that fed early game, a kremlin overextended into 4 ships (one of which being a kurfurst) and suicided, a hinden that doesnt know how to disengage and keep firing within 10km of 2 bbs, and not to mention that moskva. Flammu's team on average is not worse at all, if the average rank at the end is not anther telltale sign

So many games where we crush a flank and my team refuses to push around and get the crossfire. They play like the objective is to lose slowly.

Or the dd gets a cap and the team thinks they can completely abandon that cap as if the opponents wont capture it back. Like the game is already one at first cap.

Yes, this is something that completely frustrates me. Had a game not long ago where the enemy flank melted and the three survivors were trying to escape back to their team. Instead of pushing up behind them and helping to pin and cut them off them with nowhere to run my team just hid behind islands for 5min where they couldn't even shoot for like 5 min despite not even being that damaged.

Not only is Flamu great at the game, he's also good at explaining WHAT to do and WHY it's good. honestly i wish he did more vids like this, playing the game while explaining his decisions and what good and bad choices of the team were

He should have used HE in the end, instead of moaning about being "above the peasants" like an aristocrat. That wouldn't have made his previous play bad in any way. "consistent ap damage" - yea it is consistent. Consistently lower then HE damage he could have made. If he'd have switched to HE, he would have ended the game right there.

Its understanding the right time to push. But majority of BB's even though the enemy dd on the flank is dead, and the other side is 3 cruisers while your side is 3 bb and a dd, still BB's are afraid to push.

You can not push like this in a gk. The only ship this can happen in is Kremlin. Unless you get ridiculously lucky with MM and they don't put HE spammers on the other team. Krems 60mm deck makes it immune to almost any ship throwing HE at it. It's DC helps keep fires extremely low. GK would have burned to death so fast doing this push

Look, I enjoy his content as well and think his opinions about the game are usually right, but I can detect a stubborn or biased opinion when I hear one. For example, his opinion on Italian BB's and BB SAP in particular is just so stuck in his head and there's really no one who can convince him otherwise. In one video he might be saying that those ships have no way of dealing with DD's, while in other one he shoots BB AP at DD's and says (quite correctly) that it works well enough, and stuationally even better than HE.

@@wombat4191 i understand, but if it work for him them then why not. atleast AP will be reliable but not damage optimal. (your point is for damage optimal) if HE work for you then go for it, sometime it is convenient to use AP because DD will be hidden when they are running away, and you left with HE loaded. sometimes when you use HE that is the best damage for DD and then used it,, the shell take times to fly and it hit turret or other secondary and got no damage. normally people who have high success will become stubborn because they believe what they did is good for themself. the point is shoot the DD, its better than someone spot DD but shooting cruiser for damage farm.

Just got Soyuz last sunday. Krem looks lovely.

@@chrisb9143 Have both, love the krmlin but fought one in ranked yesterday and wore him out, we went toe to toe. Montana is ALOT tankier than most players think, probably as tanky as the kremy, but not as tanky as GK or Republique

Ever since I got the kremlin, pushing became an unstoppable addiction, I don’t care if I do less than 100k, if my team has a little residual brain left they just use my brain dead push as a way to get free enemies doing stupidity to try and counter my calculated stupidity, ranked in kremlin is just like this game.. I press W my team is hesitant, but still, sometimes you just need to kill 3 full HP BBs alone in ranked, at least the Kremlin can somewhat do it 😂

Pro tip. Don’t play your BB like a cruiser and sit behind islands. I’ve been torping Izumo’s and such in the last few days just sitting behind islands not shooting. I don’t understand what they expect to accomplish taking no damage but also dealing no damage.

Yeah, I had a game like that yesterday. I had to do the "tanking" in my Buffalo, while our Izumo and Bismarck were like 10km behing me barely landing any shells on the enemy. We lost that game ofc. :D

i managed 1 time to deal 9 citadels out of 9 shells on a Kremlin, in my Kremlin on a drive by. Only a Kremlin is allowed to devastate a Kremlin. ;)

No, you did not, kremlin does not have hp for 9 kremlins citadel hits. Even front turrets deal 96k, that is enough for 99,9% kremlins that got close, cause they never save all their hp before the brawl.

Had a Kremlin go full broadside by me in my Vermont. After playing against a Kremlin in the previous match with my Hindenburg not being able to do anything to it, I was so happy to nuke that thing into non existence lol

I really liked this video. Simple. Informative.

I've found the incomparable to be incredibly devastating in ranked because of how aggressive the conceal lets you play.

Listen to that at the end again. Shooting AP at DDs guarantees minimum AP damage, which is higher than minimum HE damage. Yes, HE can score bigger hits, but it can also score lower hits. Don't bother swapping unless DDs are all that's left and it doesn't cost you time to swap.

Kurfurst needs to turn in order to use all 4 turrets... it's inevitable.

So agree with you with aggressive play but as you quite rightly pointed out...it needs the team or flank to push with you!! I always play aggressive and usually end up initiating it but most of time team would rather sit back and I end up dying a lot :p

why do I have the feeling the GK wanted to run away from a won cap :D good you shoed him the right way! :D

Pushing a weakspot is something i always try to do and hope that someone picks up on it or comes in to support. The other day i was in a game where 3 battleships kept running from 2 cruisers.... I mean this ingrained fire turn out has gone so far that people dont even look what they face anymore.

it happened to me we were winning a flank and suddenly the dd and the bb behind me just ran away and instead of being 4 v 3 we were 2 v 3 ...

Yeah... but you have to find the right players. Most of them just turn the ships and go parking in J line.

Sometimes HE break modules with 0 damage. Ap always deals damage. I laughted so hard when 6he shells from izumo delt 1600damage to tashkent in 2 salvos, broke his angine 2 times torpedo tubes 2 times, a turret. But tashkent lived with 500hp left, and killed izumo with his 3rd torp launcher.

If you have a ship with a high AP alpha, don't switch to HE. If the dd are saturated, you will do less damage to them. The overpen damage is safe, ships like the Vermont, Yama, Incomparable. Ships like Conqueror stick with HE due to it high alpha on it from what I was told in Trenlass Vermont video.

I've 10k shotted a dd before with ap plus only reason you would use he is if a dd rushing you but your right bout ap overall best specially if catch him with pen dmg then might lose 4 5k hp and us vets know that pen dmg u can get 33% hp back but im not sure what a dd can heal back

Yeah what people don't realize is that when you have pushed enemy out of the cap, and most of their ships are gone except maybe a single DD or a single cruiser. That damn shell of nuts will come back and recap what you have already taken. It's damn dangerous have an enemy ship on the flank while pushing and not caring about it. And most of the teams just ignore flanks! They dont ever try to kill stuff that flank or just "magically disappear" on long range because... hey! There are other BBs there! Let's go farm! -_- no, that's the perfect way to lose the game. And they lose every time the game. And since I'm in those damn teams... I lose the game too! >_ But... whatever, generally my teams just go in single point leaving the other flank to me and maybe another ship. While I'm generally able to hold for some time the flank, the rest of the fleet is wiped out with no mercy. So... you know... one against an entire enemy team. My chance of survival drops to zero. -_- Every. Single. F. Time.

when your this good you have the privilege to be very arrogant. reason i love the krem and petro angle right and you are a Shield wall. there is no reason to accidently not have ap loaded on a tanky ship its a waste of a point unless you have a 21p captain

People just really arent that smart....

I think it's complementary to highlight what happened at the C cap. Just a quick look at the minimap at 5:00 tells you you're a few minutes away from a 6v3, Bourgogne has a clear exit path behind the island, and petro can just turn away from there. Even if you have to give up the cap they'll never get enough points to save themselves. Now look at 6:00, Bourgogne still hasn't disengaged, instead they moved away from the one island they could use to control exposure, and petro just completely forgot to think. When you can't win a fight, staying alive is pretty much always the best option. I think the reason these players didn't do it is the same reason the kurfurst didn't push, they don't know how to judge the situation and look ahead to know what's about to happen.

Ngl , found the GK gameplay better than the average. He pushed with through the first cap. Hit some good shots. Yea some questionable sailing but then also securing the other cap was good. Bit harsh on him lol

This is really what separates the Good Kurfurst players and the Goddamnit Kurfurst players. Too many GKs just playing like a German Monty at 19km.
