That RPF was so confusing. I thought it's the Mogami behind the island in the middle because otherwise it would've been spotted in the north. But then i realized the RPF was from the Izumo because it ended instantly when Izumo died at 16:40 … Izumo with RPF, not something you see all too often 😂😂

yeah, my money was on the Mogami as well until I realized it had to be the Izumo since the Mogami was still alive and down in the south so he would still have spotted Flamu with RPF if it was him

Definitely agree, even when I'm in uncommon ships, players panic when I use that ship's gimmick.

When bottom tier, you need to be patient playing as CV, till at least ships start to spread out and you can start working on individual targets. Not saying that CVs are balanced, but even they require patience.

Excellent match, Flamu ! Nice display of a rare vessel, and always enjoyable to see your thought-process as the battle unfolds :-)

Flamu: nobody knows what this ship does - that is its strength. Also flamu: puts it on yt for it to be viewed by hundreds of thousands of people

I still get questions: "Wtf is that ship", "Whut Hydro?!" ... etc etc. I love it. Asymmetric battle and ranked was pretty fun with it. :D Edit: Now that the video is over..fucking well played. Insane results. :D

flamu is there a thing with mogador getting detonated often cause in the last 20 games i have been detonated abt 12 times . and i dont run any signals that improve the chance of me getting detonated . it is really frustrating cause one shell from 10km away just clips me and i am detonated...

If anybody could make a lemon work, it would be Flamu.

The lack of XP that wargaming rewards players for spotting is criminal. It promotes selfish play and discourages teamwork HEAVILY.

DD is a class, where the players skill is more important, than the hard stats of the ship. Comparing DD's to each other is kinda pointless, since you pitch them against BB's. If you do your job right, meaning spotting first to provide intel for the team, contest caps at the right moment and then start picking juicy targets (sailing straight for a long time, parking behind islands) you can prevail even in a DD that is considered weak by it's stats. Priorities of course may shift if an opportunity opens. Sure you can have bad luck running into one of those silly gunboats and get gunned down instantly, but one should never think of it too much.

I have this ship and only played it 2-3 times. Yes the name of the ship is what makes it worthwhile.

Yes, it took a long time to land a single torp, but after only 3.5 minutes you already had 9 "Defends". That's a nice bit of XP by itself.

I got my silly wang in a crate. I do like it for being different. If you can team up with a light cruiser or cv to swat other dd`s away from you it can be brutal.

Rarity is a strength, really, and that’s exactly why I play ships such as the Kii and Ashitaka so much cause a lot of people don’t even know what they are and give all that broadside to punish.

THE BORED GAMER Agreed, it’s more of the characteristics of the Ashitaka, because of her really punchy guns and consistent accuracy, it’s easy to farm those citadels at max gun range just at the beginning of the match when everyone just starts to spread out toward both flanks. Not a lot of people expect to get citadeled at the start of the Mach, multiple times.

THE BORED GAMER Well not as good as Slava, but at least from my experience it’s pretty good. You occasionally get those few stray shells going nowhere, but other than that they concentrate pretty well along a horizontal axis.

Someone please tell me how to switch targets when aiming torpedos, i cannot find out.

So WG has banned the previews of coming ships? Why do they shoot themselves in the foot always? One would think they'd learn.

Gorizia is another ship like this. Full-speed smoke and 6Km hydro makes for a lethal DD-hunter.

This was rare? I got one quite some time ago randomly. Dont recall how, just was in my port one day. Its a tier 8 free premium so I kept it. Didnt even want it or knew it existed before I got it. I dont really like or dislike it, thats mostly cause Im really not good with dds. Not my prefered ships, 98% the time I use CC / BB. No matter the DD I try using, I always just end up doing suicidal charges at the enemy n dumping torps at point blank range. Got a pommern to, really like that one. I guess somethin happened between this video and when I got those 2 premiums, cause I just figured everyone got em.

Play high tier premium ship, equip all xp flags, don't forget to have premium time and you can get that much fxp easily when you have high base xp. Even playing a losing game could generate at least 10k fxp.
