@@timlenzke872 These tier X "premiums" are actually considered "freemiums", ships you can't acquire with real money, and therefor can be nerfed if needed, WG has made very clear statements about this, even going as far as to give freemiums a special symbol in port (the ship inside the golden crown is silver in freemiums, and gold in premiums). Of course, WG avoids nerfing them because it's such an obvious shitstorm waiting to happen that even someone as dense as WG devs would see it coming a mile away. No one wants to grind 60k RP for an Ohio, or 30k steel for a Bourgogne, only to have it be nerfed to the ground right after.

I’m just gonna get this out of the way: Slava is a Champagne equivalent at Tier 10 enough said It has a style - an incredibly selfish style reminiscent of Battlecruiser playstyle Bbs thedailybounce.net/world-of-warships/final-review-soviet-tier-x-reward-ship-slava/ All the important armor things you need to know: Deck: 32 mm = everything can farm this Bow plating: 25 mm = 15-inch guns onwards can farm full AP pens Citadel: weak af but thanks to the low freeboard it can be hard to aim at unlike other Russian bbs Weird armor plates?: slavas main belt uses a distributed armor scheme so the front part of the belt is thicker than the amidships belt - it has a front bulkhead NOT PART OF THE CITADEL, 420 mm thick sloped inwards down = you ain’t bow citadeling it Turning circle = outright massive, makes Moskva look good AA = decently strong

@@neonlight1214 Eh no bad accuracy is a thing, just how Guassian dispersion works in WOT makes the numbers impact not as relevant after 8.something when the new mechanics for dispersion were introduced. The hidden stats do matter more since OTM, on Rotation and after firing stats are important more so than base accuracy.

The kremlin honestly doesn’t even bother me because of the trash dispersion. Yamato dispersion is way better from medium to far range while Kremlin excels in close quarters combat. Kremlin may have “low” vertical dispersion, but with all of the sigma and AA nerfs I honestly would rather play the Monty for more consistent games.

If you spec full secondary on German BB's you can be spotted from Mars and get HE spammed/farmed before you even get into secondary range. I don't even bother playing my GK anymore, Need to respec it one day just for normal BB captain skills. Basically most BB's these days you have to spec concealment and fire prevention, Otherwise you are the first to die within 5 minutes as they spot and farm you. What's worse is even just to get a few good shots in from main guns,The German BB's dispersion is so bad you are forced to get in closer just to consistently hit anything.

GK should hv something like 55-56 deck Armour to balance her huge superstructure. Strong, but pennable by some ships. Instead, we have Kremlin with non existant superstructure and unpennable central deck. What a joke of a game

@@vermas4654 i think its a combo that Im running a secondary build (no aiming systems) and its the absolute worst possible rng on the gniesenau's already questionable guns. Edit: he died anyway cus Gniesenau has torpedoes, but still...

Unlike Champagne, Slava can atleast have some tankiness with those side plates. But sheer consistency of the shells is madness. I think WG will stop selling them soon lol

the reason why long range snipers are being played more, is simply the power of HE spam, when cruisers and DD's can melt a BB in less than a minute it makes the big ships too vulnerable especially as their reload is 30+ seconds on most, if WG reduce fire damage people will want to brawl more.

The real reason why naval cannons are different from AT guns, even USSR didn't use railguns like that at sea is barrel life. There is so much pressure in firing naval shells that the rifling will be worn after ~ 50 shots (for 220mm Moskva guns), which affects accuracy immensely . Imagine having a gun almost twice the caliber. You would have to change the barrel every 10 shots or so. But WG is like "hurr durr new flavor" and give guns that would literally tear itself apart every shot 10x accuracy of proven, well-made & well-maintained USN guns

Very squishy glass cannon. 2-3 ships HE spam her and burn her to sink. AP overmatch nose and ass. Reserved ONLY for PRO who knows how to avoid enemy shells. Even torps are very dangerous. 3-4 of them and sunk. Very nice and pleasent on Flamu's hands who is a PRO. Dont ever think for a moment you can repoduce what Flamu is doing ...

So, the takeaway is that Slava excels at surprise buttsecks.

I don't know if it's a combination of the best pubstomps or your playstyle of avoiding any frontline ever but it's impressive how you see in this vids entire games of multiple people (pretty much the entire enemy team) broadside and oblivious of your spotted presence, in my games every body is doing hard turns for their life and also my team people in full life battleships is waiting 25km away and running to the next map patiently waiting for me in some light cruiser to soak damage for the win

Another ship from the stalinium line. And we still get 7% dispersion after the grind of your life with Yammato. The turrets could be nailed down to the deck for all i care but 7% dispersion? really... Maybe they want all of us to play russian ships?... dunno...

CV is cancer and planes and their pilots should go to world of warplanes. Remove planes from the game.

the one good thing is, that people cant blame rng for not hitting with this ship. You cant angle against two slavas in a team though.

At around 62,000 RB points, the gate is fairly high. You'd need to redo all the lines of at least 2 nations. That's a fairly long grind.

If people want WG to change their ways somewhat, they will have to do more than complain in KZread comments. Stop playing, stop paying. As a bonus, it will probably mean you live longer as a result by avoiding rage and stress, lol. Edit: On a sidenote, as if tier 10 was not ruined enough yet. I thought WoT at tier 10 was bad, but I think WoWs may be even worse. That would be a good place to start, looking at the funfactor of different tiers. 10 is just absolute garbage.

slava has been in testing longer then the cv rework.

Before anyone start complaining about Slava. please note two things. 1)this ship is not good at the hands of non good players(majority of wows), since most of the shots gonna miss and the ship by itself is gonna be pretty much irrelevant since its absence of presence. not to mention that even positioning the ship to make it actually work can be challenging sometimes. i ve seen many people so far trying to get safe positions and they end up getting farmed by he or torpedoes. I am not claiming that is hard to park at 22km but getting positions to shoot broadsides, require 1)map awareness 2) advanced thinking/preditctament 2) this ship costs 63k research points. which means not many players gonna get it since it it needs 6 resets and something without countin the x2 bonus ofcourse. even healthy accounts will bleed to get that ship, same occasion with Ohio pretty much

In all the sadness of this ship released, I actually had to laugh.

Having seen the recent masquerade they call navy parade of the comrades makes this imaginary ship even more absurd. The floating junkyard they call navy and their imaginary fleet makes this just pathetic! There should be a single tier 11 soviet premium BB (available only for russian citizens) with nuclear shells, 5 sec reload, infinite heals and energy shield AA without citadel. Just to make all things clear!

imo every ship should have a dispersion close to this (obviously not that good). Good aiming should be rewarded as much as not paying attention should be punished. With most ships you can aim perfectly at a stationary target and still miss your shells. That should not be the case at all if you ask me

Maybe it could be balanced by classifying it as a CV. I think I will uninstall. High tier is unplayable nowadays

@@vae9430 did you know it has a hidden 400mm plating under the 25mm nose and stearn making it as hard as other BBs to citadel? Also terrible handling... Yamato and stock montana would like to have a chat with you.

@@ONW4V3R And it still has an armor that makes it a dmg pinata for any kind of cruiser that it cannot overmatch anyway, while Yamato can easily farm full pen salvos on its bow dealing massive dmg nonetheless.

WG is doing their part in compensating the shortcomings of historical Russian/Soviet navies.

It seems like the biggest complaint is the long range passive play, which isnt a real complaint to me. It's just the way the game is right now. Ships sitting in the back of the map is annoying, but if you move up you just get focused down by four different ships. If they added a ship with a ton of armor that could get in peoples faces people would get mad because they added an unkillable ship, or it would just become a damage sponge. I think different permanent gamemodes would be good. Imagine clicking random battle, and getting to choose between close, medium, and long range engagements. There are many ways to make the game better without changing the aspects of the ships themselves. They could also make ships like this available to everyone, like a bb tree split. It would give them the data they need to realize this ship isnt fun to play against.

How easy is this ship going to be to obtain? Is it at least a steel ship so only a relative few will get it or?

Imagine there are people that think it isn't so OP as it looks.

Slava is now perfectly balanced.

sooo what im getting is the fact that this was what iowa was supposed to be ingame but never was so instead they add slava...........

so to balance this out can the US bbs get increased pen angles if they shoot super heavy ap why only leave it to the cruisers, US line is already powercreeped to hell
