My guess is that since the world serpent spanned all of the realms, Thor hitting it caused a fluctuation with Yggdrasil that ported the snake back in time due to the tree splintering.

The fates of their land were based on the fact that mortals couldn't change, so it was deemed fate. If mortals can't change, therefore, they are doomed to repeat the same actions. The other item is the world serpent spans all 9 realms itself, a hit that big would cause damage to the world tree, causing a fluctuation in time and space itself.

I do love the subtle writing joke about Mimir being a literal talking skull

I like this kind of stories. I mean, as a non-GoW player, I don't really know which part of his past Kratos told to Mimir, Freya, and Atreus. By referencing from the previous game and add it to the videos makes me understands more on Kratos' past as a non-GoW player. Kudos to this channel

Strength means nothing without brains. As we saw from the greek pantheon, a lot of them seemed to be so far up their own ass they forgot that they too could be defeated. At least the norse mythology has their own level of hax like unable to be damaged by anything type of magic with baldur and just negating all travel to other worlds as well as binding someone to a land and stripping them of concepts like "fighting spirit". Imagine if zeus had that for kratos when he broke his oath. He would have never been able to leave his torture, nor would he even be allowed to fight back outright.

Yeah i do have watched it, since my PC can't run GoW and i dont have any PS4 to play GoW Ragnarok. So i watched this 28 Hours walkthrough (divided into 2, GoW & Ragnarok) and it was enjoyable. Surely it take weeks to finish since i don't have all the time, but yeah, they do a great job at storytelling

In that scene, I always felt that Zeus was so absorbed into his belief of superiority over Kratos that not even an earth quake could shake him from his speech. I mean, it wouldn't be far from the truth to say that Zeus likely felt that the shaking was from his own all inspiring and powerful speech. Kinda like being lost in the moment, but in this particular moment it was his own voice

The whole time travel thing makes no sense, since if Kratos ten returned to his Timeline, tat means Zeus, still has destroyed Sparta, has his timelines Blade of Olympus and thinks that Kratos is Dead Otherwise they would know that the Titans survived, as they Imprissoned them, not kill back when they won the War

Kratos didn’t change the past, he just brought the titans forward and allowed Zeus to think the Titans were defeated. In that respect the story is wrong as Kratos didn’t win the battle so much as delayed it until victory would be possible.

@@Grz349 I meant when he went back and beat the shit out of Zeus stopping him from Destroying Sparta and killing everyone there with a Energy Slash yet in his Time-Line nothing changed, but somehow Zeus did NOT have the Blade and was preparing for War like Zeus getting his ass handed to him, Athena dying happened, yet Kratos somehow saved everything, as the Titans and the 3rd game happen like minutes later, but Sparta was still Destroyed

To her, kratos was just a pawn the entire time. She knew they wouldn’t win during the Great War so she had a plan with the other titans for kratos to come and bring them to the future where they have the advantage since kratos has the blade of Olympus… basically the entire time, Gaia only cared about the titans and not what would happen to kratos but she kept that to herself
