Seinfeld was offered almost 200 million if he just did one more season and he turned it down because he wasn't gonna only keep doing the show for financial reasons. He wanted the show to end on a high note. I miss when entertainers had creative integrity. You can see him mention this on howard stern.

According to Larry King Seinfeld did stop the show because it had peaked and the viewers wasn't there anymore.

I stopped watching several shows I initially liked because they went past their prime and the storylines kept getting weaker.

It was on from 1989 to 1998.

Back in the 90's, when the show would have a new episode every Thursday night, we would laugh and talk about it during work the next morning. It was such a great comedy tv show.

That "Must See TV" on Thursday nights was real. The 90s was the second golden age of broadcast TV.

My favorite episode is The Merv Griffin Show. Kramer finds an old zmer zgriffen tv show set, sets it up in his apartment and invites guests to be on his tv show thats not filmed or aired. Its hilarious.

Seinfeld is from Long Island, where I’m from. He’s Jewish, I’m Italian… but he reminds me so much of my cousins!!!! This is pretty much us Long Island New Yorkers!!!

I had to check if Kenny Rogers's Roasters was still around because I've never seen one. But they have 156 restaurants world wide including as far away as India (where surely no one has ever heard The Gambler ;)

The writing by Larry David is legendary! And ofc Seinfeld is a genius as well!

There really was a chain of restaurants called Kenny Rogers Roasters, and it was delicious chicken. I used to eat there every Friday. I miss that place still.

More Seinfeld!!! My whole family would watch every week together when I was young.. "The Show about nothing" It was about 4 friends and their dating lives, new partners every episodes, new Jobs every season, their awkward relationships with their families, coworkers and the weird people they met in NYC!! Daz, maybe the best way to start Aiden off is with the special that aired just before the final episode. Remember? It kind of touched quickly on the main running bits and each of the main characters and the reoccurring characters too! It's was basically recapping what made Seinfeld so funny. And it was in the style of "best of compilations" so it won't really spoil anything for Aiden if he wants to watch full episodes. I hope I'm spelling your name right Aiden 😬 Do you remember the special episode I'm talking about O.B.D.??

Kenny Rogers Roasters was REALLY good...the only reason why they're not everywhere is they expanded wayyyy too fast and suddenly collapsed. So far as I know the only ones left are located outside the U.S. now.

@@SeenGod haha one thing that is different and that Seinfeld completely missed was none of the Seinfeld crew had each other's backs, not like real friends, they all had their limitations, but in Curb we see Larry and Jeff and Larry and Leon definitely having each other's backs, that's something I really like about Curb and Larry doesn't seem to have any female friends, there is no Elaine, the show is nearly over but it might have been interesting if Larry had a real female friend, I could see that benefiting him with his schemes and understanding of the world, like a cheat code, at least for 1 season, probably impossible though because Larry would want to bang her, I guess maybe that's who Cheryl was..

I was in high school in the 90's everyone was into friends and Seinfeld, but never thought they were that good or funny. In living color, mad TV, I found more funny. Probably, cause I was a teenager and had more of a crude sense of humor. Even today, I don't find them that funny.
