kpro for beginners from a beginner - tps calibration fan control saving changes and testing out the throttle body with no exhaust (scared the F*ck out of the cat) on a JDM Honda crv rd1 k24a3 awd. Today we also learn how to fill and drain a k series manual gearbox
this 1996 JDM RD1 crv awd k24 is getting close to its first drive.
Im building this car for my wife I cant wait to see her reaction .

    haha so loud with a few revs... Getting close now, just need that exhaust! Cheers for the mention and if they ever let us out of this friggin lockdown i'll try and source you a tb bracket from a wrecker here. They mount to the throttle body bolts, which is a bit different to yours on the intake. Also god damn my fill plug was done up by Hercules - i seriously thought i cracked the gearbox housing when it finally gave way. I can see you had a double spanner job to get yours loose too!

    How did you get Kpro to turn your fans on and off once your value was entered for it to kick on? I have the stock k series switch as well installed in the rad and my engine temp is registering 35°F and I set the value to 30 (car is in aux only, not running), uploaded to the ECU, and fans don't come on. I even checked current to the switch and it's reading what the battery is so I'm getting the signal and sensor is brand new. Fans are wired into the stock plugs like you did. Any thoughts?

    Looking good If you'd like I can remote road tune it for you one day as long as you have a wideband hooked up to the ecu Is recommend an aem one, I think Adam probably still has them on special atm Otherwise there is a small chance that I may be heading to the south island soon for a holiday

    Hell yeah dude, cheers. I was going to run the factory o2 from the k20 rd5 engine, i assumed it was wideband oem 🤷‍♂️. Any reason why i cant just run that? Im not looking for high hp just want to make use of the 50° vtc. Always welcome to stop by regardless. Thanks for the help.

    I saw you loaded an accord base map with 270 cc injectors .the k24a you have has vtec on the intake and exhaust cam right?Normal k24’s carry 270cc injectors is it the same for k24vtec heads or 310cc injectors?

    When did you see me do that ? I know i accidentally did that more recently when i installed a factory o2, you're correct you want the 310cc tune for the 3lobe vtec k24 engines. Runs like shit on the 270cc tune lol
