If u look at the latest baby pics she posted in her stories, u will see that she had a thin nose from the beginning. There is only one pic where her nose looks a bit thick, all of the others, show a thin nose.. as for the others, u can easily see its just makeup

I'm gonna be That Person and point out that wonyoung's is really upsetting. she's still only 17 and she got her lips done even younger. it honestly shouldn't be legal to do these things to such young people, especially considering she most likely wasn't even the one who made that choice.

I mean like even if she "made the choice," it's really easy to feel like you don't actually have a choice if someone senior to you is suggesting it. And even if there was zero pressure from someone close to her, the environment she's in is pressuring in and of itself, and she's too young to have the experience and brain development to make such a serious health choice (it can permanently change the shape of your lips due to stretching and scarring).

Fillers go away within a few months and it’s not a harmful process so i don’t think it’s bad for her doing it at this age cuz it’ll fade away sooner or later and ofc she does it at top doctors

@@monlkonli5943 actually they don't simply "go away". The chemicals build up in your body but they do move. Maybe you noticed it on people who use fillers for years - their face gets really puffy even if they're skinny. It often stores around the cheek area.

Wonyoung's filler is probably temporary. You can get permanent ones but the standard ones are absorbed by the body within a year. I would be very concerned if she got the permanent procedure. Still pretty scary that the industry pressures idols to do this.

Thanks for showing this. People are feeling themselves insecure because of idols sometimes. They have to remember that this is an entertainment industry and not everything is real in there.

Tbh I don't know why would you deny so much this. It actually makes me feel better about myself the fact that idols who are seen as "perfect" aren't born perfect, like, no one does. We all want to change things in our bodies and at least it's something that is obtainable, not like seeing all that beautiful people pretend they were born like that and make you think you would never achieve something like it.

Considering that pictures can be edited, lip plumper could be used, and they wear makeup 24/7, wouldn't it be best to consider all of the factors before coming to a conclusion? Exactly, the whole plastic surgery discussion is not about shaming idols, but about people accepting their body. Idols will always have a manufactured image to appeal to their audience. If you just look at their noses, they all have straight noses which you rarely see in common people around you. This shows how common it is in this industry where looks matter a lot.

honestly, they're picked much more for their looks than talent. Which idol is more likely to amass a following and make a company more money? Someone normal looking with incredible talent, or someone pretty with mediocre skills? the pretty one can be trained to perform better and their looks can be enhanced, but the average looking person can never look like them, no matter what surgery they do. (This isnt abt any idol in particular btw.)

Lisas lips are not naturally full, they are kinda thin, i can show you the evidence if you want but shes definitely had filler you just don't grow lips, you are born with them full

It's 2022 let's stop treating surgery as something taboo. Time to stop denying these procedures that idols clearly had done.

I think that was a bad "after" pic for Lisa because I'm fairly certain that one was just makeup. It was a lipstick ad, so they make sure the lips look as good as possible. In fact it even could've been touched up

As a doctor in beauty, I hv to say this to denial fans. ALMOST. I repeat. ALMOST ALL Kpop Idol did surgeries. Even what they said natural beauty, It's always given some procedures. Especially rhinoplasty. And I don't care. As long as it boost their confidence. I just hate the denial fans saying that it's puberty blablabla. Money talks, baby. And u hv to accept that

I’m a morena with naturally plump lips and i used to not like my lips for being too thick so i used to make them appear thinner when i smile but i learned to accept whatever my features look like. At the end of the day, beauty standards are just too unrealistic nowadays and there’ll always be people who would think you’re ugly/ beautiful. The important thing is that you think you are beautiful. If you are reading this, you are beautiful!

Some of them definitely had fillers but some also just had overlined lips + lip contour and possibly used a lip plumper. Even if they got stuff done- that’s fine!!

Yet they all manage to look stunning without it

I'm here to read people in denial trying to explain is just makeup, or that they had "a glow up" you know, when you age a bit and all the fat from your face goes directly to your lips, a very common part of puberty.... Honestly I would be not surprised with the excuses, giving how much k-pop fans love denying whe their idols that obviously had PS done in some aspect. Some of my faves are there and I'm not blind, neither I have nothing to "defend" them about. I don't understand you guys prejudice against cosmetic procedures when you are a fan of k-pop idols, a major part of them had a least a small thing done, and is very normal, they are celebrities in one of the countries ( If not THE country) with the highest numbers of facial cosmetic procedures in the world.

@@aayushi9634 Overdrawn lips are easily seen, they don't look plump especially with the side profile, Hwasa overdraws hers but you can easily see it because its flatter where there make-up and fuller where there isn't all of these women had fillers but you make it seem like it's a bad thing that they did

I think she personally said that she did not get any filler. Early in their debut, the makeup artist always use concealer to cover up some part of her lips to make it look thinner because that was the beauty standard back then. And the beauty standard gravitated towards fuller lips nowadays so her makeup started to accentuate her lips. (I might be wrong tho

Some of it actually might be and in any case lip fillers usually only last for 8 months to 1 year (as far as I know ) so even if the idol doesn’t like it it isn’t permanent

If you get lip fillers u usually have a slight bump on your lip where the filler was injected so some of these are makeup definitely but some of the others are undeniably fillers cause that can’t be achieved even with over lining the lips And if the idols don’t like it then it isn’t permanent so IMO this isn’t bad cause it doesn’t effect their health or vocals and also isn’t permanent But surgeries should be thought about cause they are permanent Not only for idols but also anyone who want to get any type of cosmetic surgery to enhance looks

If you said or posted this on twitter, their fandoms would just attack you like plastic surgery is offensive. Like don't be so shallow our idols get it because they want to or the entertainment wants them to.

She did actually as a child, she had her nose, eyes , jaw and lips done. Basically everything. Not really Healthy for a teenager but It’s not that dangerous and she probably did so because she wanted to, since she comes from a really rich family. Most of the idols had a plastic surgery , most drastic are idols from SM, It’s not uncommon to have the whole face done. Just watch plastic surgeons talk about them, It’s not that beautiful people are common in Korea, It’s a capital of plastic surgery for a reason.

She told it in s.korea tv itself. So in s.k there is no age restriction I guess. Many doing it from uncertified hospitals too bcz of discounts, offer coupons etc.,

I feel like a lot of these are just makeup but like even if they are lip fillers there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. They all look gorgeous either way.

I feel like the people denying their favs had anything done have no grasp of Korean culture. I've lived in Korea over 3 years, and almost every Korean I've met has either gotten a cosmetic procedure or wants one. You walk around Gangnam and you'll see hordes of girlies gauzed up like mummies recovering from their jaw surgery. Non-surgical things like fillers are ridiculously popular, and even a lot of middle and high schoolers get them done (parents will sign off on it and even pay for it in many cases like a gift for good grades). When the general public is this open to plastic surgery, it's ridiculous to think that an idol that relies on their good looks for their job would not get an assortment of these things done.

I think everybody looks amazing with or without lip fillers here. Personally, I think Chungha looks really good with fillers? Like, she just looks more mature, which is never a bad thing. Even without fillers, she looks really cute imo. I hope people aren't pressured to get procedures, permanent or temporary. I hope idols can make their own decisions and say whether or not they want procedures. It's not about how much surgery they've done, but it's to keep in mind that maybe they thought they would feel more confident and comfortable with themselves with a small tweak here and there. As long as they love themselves, I don't care what they've done.... well, as long as they aren't harming themselves negatively with any procedures. I'm not justifying that cosmetic procedures are amazing and everyone should do it, but I'm saying we shouldn't bash idols for making these decisions. It's their life. and I hope they can love themselves the way we love them

Yes, it's not a big deal but assuming someone had plastic surgery when there are many possibilities on how your appearance changes is wrong. How would you feel if people said your lips are fake when you know that your lips are natural? You would probably feel sad,insulted,offended or just nothing. Either way,it might get in your head since there are many people who says the same thing.

Yes, it's their body and yes they can do what they want but pointing it out and having a regular conversation about it is not equal to dissing them, unless you unconciously think ps talks are automatically negative cause ps is wrong? Plastic surgeons have talked about celebrities ps too, it's ok to talk about it for education and realization and as long as we don't diss them about it.
