As a girl who is 160cm tall I think it’s flattering that so many boys prefer my height, but also, I don’t want any girls to think they are less pretty than others just because of height! Let’s all remember it’s something about ourselves that we cannot change or control and to love ourselves regardless!

Being 150 is more hard than people think, especially if you’re looking for dresses . They’re usually too long for you , even the smallest sizes . I could go with the oversized trends , but I don’t like that style in general. It’s hard to shop for clothes when you’re stuck in such an awkward height . Too small for adults section , and too big for the kid section (I wouldn’t really go for it either anyway 😅).

fr, and don't forget about trying to find jeans 😭😭 if u want jeans that cut at a perfect height, you either have to fold them up like 5 times which makes them look bulkier, or get them tailored/cut them yourself. it's such a pain, i just want to wear ankle cropped mom jeans like everybody else tbh.

This is so relatable. Especially for me because I'm overweight and 147.5cm so I need a L of XL most of the times but they tend to be too long for me which don't look good🙂😭 I'll have to loose weight if I wanna get the size S or M for the perfect height of the dress :) I tried before but it's tough to be consistent :(

as a girl who's 180, it made me happy that at least one person chose the tallest girl. i feel like a lot of the time people tend to see taller girls as "masculine" and guys worry too much about the way they'd look with a taller girl by their side. we're feminine, too! being taller doesn't mean we're brutes or that we're always strong, heavy and dominant... edit: guys! i wanna clarify two things! 1) i didn't mean to say that being tall immediately meant being masculine, and even if that were the case, there's nothing wrong with being a tomboy! it's just that very often we have to "compensate" by being overly feminine to avoid being called "scary" or "intimidating". but there's nothing wrong with that if you like being dominant ❤️ 2) i can't speak for all tall girls but i wouldn't mind a shorter guy! i don't think it matters. short guys, if you like a tall girl, go for it! be confident because being insecure isn't attractive to anyone.

I’m glad that they all got picked by at least one person- I know that height is often something people they wish they could change. I’m tall but me and my shorter friends have talked about how we both feel insecure about our heights. Guess we often want what we don’t have.

There's not many comments about appreciating short girls, so as a fellow 150ish gang I feel relieved that one of the boys chose the 150 girl. Height is such a big insecurity for many people, and as for girls the ideal height starts mostly from 158cm+ Which leaves the shorter gang stranded. Short girls are mostly seen as a cute and child like person, and gets treated like their sister/friend instead of seeing them in a romantic light in most cases.

Tbh,guys have a much bigger stigma when it comes to height. Toxic woman out here saying men shorter than 6ft 2 shouldn’t even exist because they “pollute” the gene pool, when only 10% of men are 6ft and taller. Unrealistic standards.

Im 170cm and honestly thought that they would all go for 160cm. But this was a confidence booster. It was also nice that everyone's height got chosen. Its nice to know that everyone has a different type and although you may not fit in societies beauty standard you can always be beautiful to someone. [Edit: Ok looking at this comment much later Im surprised it got so many likes. I realize I may not be the tallest to be saying this, only that where I live the average is much shorter- and so are the expectations. But my opinion doesn't change. I like some traits in guys that other women wouldn't typically go after. So why wouldnt it be the other way around :)]

For a westerner, I'm very very short at 154cm compared to the average, so it's always been a huge insecurity for me here. The main problem is people treating you like a child. Even today I was at a bar but all I wanted was a bottle of water and they told me very condescendingly, "sorry but you need to have your parent accompany you" and I had to tell them that I'm an adult and provide my licence lol. I think this video is nice for everyone showing that there's good things about all heights!

Some of the best guys I know are the short ones because it makes them humble as well, they're not cocky and annoyingly overconfident. Saying this as someone who's 177cm, honestly if you feel intimidated by someone being taller than you and judge them by the cover, then that's on you. I sincerely dont care if my partner were to be taller or shorter than me, as long as we can be comfortable with one another. Of course, perhaps if it was an extreme height gap it would be a bit difficult to interact physically sometimes, but the heart is what matters most. If people want it, then both make the effort to make it work

I'm 152, 24 years old. My female friends always tell me "it must be easy to get a boyfriend bcos most guys are taller than you" but I totally disagree and said "no, guys won't even want to date me bcos they think I'm a minor and they don't see me as a women." I reached 171cm when in 8th grade and guys around me were all into small girls which made me felt really conscious about my height and even felt bad. It's nice they included taller women as well! As a woman who is about 176cm, I feel like I identified most with the 180 cm girl. It's been nice reading the comments here to find other tall women with similar experiences ^^. Women are women, and being taller doesn't automatically make you more masculine, tough, or strong (however, if you do identify with those traits, that is perfectly fine too). We also want to feel the same as our shorter girlfriends as well - we can also feel like we want to be protected as well. Having lived in Korea before, I would agree with comments here that Korean (men) seem to place a big importance on height. I have been told not to wear heels, and also had a male acquaintance move to another part of the line because he didn't want to stand beside a girl who is taller than him. I know everyone has their own individual experiences, but I do think that it can sometimes be tough for taller women, since sometimes these assumptions that we are masculine, strong, can protect ourselves easily, etc are made about us. Tall men are almost always seen as attractive, but unfortunately, the same does not apply to women.

As a girl who's 176cm, i totally agree with you. The environment and society we live in makes u feel uncomfortable with your height. When i look at myself in the mirror, i do love and admire my height, but everything changes once i get out of home and become involved in society. I really hope everything changes. I’m 184cm and dealing with dating and my height has been an issue. I’ve learned to not lean towards finding someone taller then me because most tall men prefer shorter girls. I have allowed myself the option of dating men of all heights and have found that height doesn’t matter anymore. As someone who also likes wearing platforms I can even reach heights of 198cm and definitely makes it difficult sometimes because I usually have people stare all the time. I’ve stopped caring about what other people think and rock my height and I’ve learned that a lot of people are more accepting but you still get a few people who hardcore judge.

The guy that said that all have their own charm is absolutely spot on. Honestly, I’ve had super hard crushes on both a girl way taller than me and a girl way shorter than me, and I’ve never ever wished one of them was a different height. All heights have SO much to like and are so unique to the person, and even though having preferences is ok, a lot of guys that prefer one over the other just haven’t met a girl they like with the height opposite to the one they say they prefer. It just breaks my heart in two to hear about girls ashamed of their own height when they don’t realize they absolutely rock how tall they are.

Exactly my bro. Being petite or a giant, in the end, if you know what to do with your height, then everything else doesn't matter. All the guys here were flustered at some point by all the girls so yeah. Girls (well, everyone :V) can be beautiful and desirable just with personal care and heart

I am 187 cm so I've always dated 170cm+ girls

as a girl who is 150 cm, i always want to get taller everyday.Tall girls are really lucky and they are so cool.i can't even wear what i want. (edit) i am talking about I have problems when choosing clothes or wearing clothes.Its just i can't wear new trendy outfits that i really like. Thats all.

as a 175 cm guy i would like to say that personality, kindness etc matters more than height(they makes the person more charming and attractive) and personally i find short girls more cute and attractive, there might be some disadvantages of short height but everyone is cool and beautiful in their own way👍

I’m so glad as a tall woman that my husband encourages me to wear heels even though he is shorter than me. I’ve always struggled with my femininity during my teenage years, I felt that since I was so tall I couldn’t be feminine or wear feminine clothes/shoes, thankfully as I got older my confidence grew and now I’m not ashamed of being tall. I bought my first pair of heels this year and I will continue to wear what I want and what I find beautiful.

@@mariasaavedra9955 that’s a tricky situation, I think your bf might need some comfort or reassurance about his height being perfect the way it is, and you wearing heels won’t make him any less of a man or less attractive. He might be insecure but he can always gain confidence in himself, unfortunately there’s this idea that men have to be taller than women but height shouldn’t be a reason to be unhappy 😞 I hope it’ll get better, that he embrace your height and that both of you will gain confidence :)

I'm a little sad actually when 150 is considered the shortest height for girls. I grew up being ridiculed by many people because of my height (140cm). I couldn't really live my life because I feel pressured to stay childish to match my size. Because of my size, I feel like I don't have the right to be an adult. I lose my confidence many times when giving my opinion in my workplace. Growing up surrounded by judgemental people made me being judgemental of myself and that mindset of mine is hard to change when I'm basically born molded with that thought of despising my own height.

Nooo i know it’s easier said than done but you know, im 149cm and i used to think like you but then one time when i was scrolling through instagram and saw one girl who is living her life hiking, riding horses and doing all adventures and leading a group ,i was like ofc cause she is tall,but then something in my mind told me « who cares you are a girl and she is a girl you both human,you deserve to do what others do!» then yes i realized that i accepted all the judgment of people and become part of my identity ..to the point that i felt like i don’t deserve to do some stuff and act in certain way! I learned to think that im less than others but now that i realized how i was programmed by people im slowly breaking those chains and do whatever i want no matter how they laugh at me and don’t take me seriously i’ll still do what i want and act as that it’s my life and it’s only one deserve to live it fully the way i want P.S im not fully recovered from my old mindset yet i know it takes time but as long as im aware of it nothing can stop me…cheer up ur not alone :)

this made me feel so much better bc my boyfriend was my friend before we dated, and he always told me he liked short girls bc the feeling of protecting them. i get it if i was a guy id probably feel that too, but i am about 172 cm and he is 195 cm so we have quite the height difference still but he makes comments that we don’t have a height difference and it bothers me since he was always known to be attracted to short girls more… even tho he says now he finds my height attractive this video really helped showing how much of them chose the 170cm girl when before having an ideal of a shorter height

everyone has their own ideal height or type, but at the end of the day it doesn't matter when they finally meet someone that they love, comfortable with, and just connect to each other. so you don't have to worry or insecure about your height

30대 173cm이지만 저도 그런 얘기 많이 들어서 공감이 되네요. 자존감 낮을 필요없어요. 카페서 엄마랑 동생이랑 있다가 잠시 밖에 구경 나간사이에 남동생이 저희 테이블 가려고 한 찰나에 어떤 아줌마 4명이서 저를 갖다가 험담했다 하더라구요. 제가 그 날 6cm굽 신고 있어서 좀 더 커보이긴 했는데 절더러 여자가 키가 너무 크면 징그럽다나 뭐라나.ㅋㅋㅋ 머리채 잡고 싸울까 했는데 지들이 못가진 유전자니 저러니 싶어요. 예를 들어 가슴 큰여자들 헐뜯는 그런 여자들 있듯이 . 말을 상대방 입장에서 생각안하는 것들은 무시하고 사람 배려하는 지능이 떨어진것들이라 무시하고 사세요^^ 거기서 제 험담하는 아줌마들 보다 제가 훨씬 이쁘고 잘났다고 객관적으로 생각해요. 코트같은거 이쁜거 입으시구 멋쟁이로 사시길 예의없는것들 때문에 한번 사는인생 굽히고 숨기고 다니지마세요. 당당하게 사세요.

I am 160cm tall girl and tbh I've never really thought abt my height. But since I have shorter and taller friends I'm thankful I'm the medium height girl. Sometimes I feel jealous for some of my petite friend who seems so likeable for being cute. And I'm introvert I don't really like being seen by lots of ppl I love being invisible I guess my height, 160cm is great at helping me to be invisible enough. Bcs being shortest or tallest could easily grab ppl attention and I don't want that.

seeing the 1.72m girl get chosen the most made me feel good since i am 1.73m myself however the prejudices about tall women are so annoying .. just because we're tall does not mean we are more masculine or stronger and wouldnt need protection (which in south korea caused a judge to not believe a woman who was over 1.70m with a sexual assault case bc he said since shes tall she could protect herself). a persons height has NOTHING to do with their personality or gender expression edit: there is nothing wrong with being masculine!! everyone is masculine and feminine, no one is just one of those things. i was just annoyed with the instant assumption from people towards us tall women that we are always bossy and bitchy and hard to approach, even mean etc. i can be bossy, but thats not all there is to my personality

I feel like many men have this misconception of taller girls “not giving as good hugs as shorter girls” because they don’t go to your chest , and whatnot. I cried when my best friend called my boyfriend (his best friend too) a pedo for dating me because I was 5ft exacty (~152cm), even though I'm older by a couple of months. My boyfriend later told him off and said that I was perfect. I wish I were taller so that he wouldn't keep doing this, but I appreciate that we all have our own charms. I’m 1,51 and I appreciate the idea of looking shorter and “delicate” (in certain ways) next to a man. When I was younger, I wanted to be tall, but learned to accept my height. It’s not that bad. Every height has their qualities and every woman is different from each other. I’m glad that one of the guys has chosen my height :p I thought no one would do.

It's true! When I was a younger I also had a complex about my height and I always wore or wanted to wear heels. When I grew up I realized that I don't need them and I accepted being a short person. The people who love you or who become interested in you don't care about your height.

I'm 1,50 and I used to hate my height when I was younger. Now that I'm an adult I actually like it cause I like how I look when I stand by my boyfriend who's 1,80 xD

180 would definitely be my pick given the opportuninity, however it also heavily depends on the person themselves

В 17 я был ростом 168 и у меня не было проблем с тем, чтобы девушка была выше. В 19 я подрос до 173 и по-прежнему не было никаких проблем. А сейчас мне 24 и мой рост составляет 179, при весе в 83 кг (хожу регулярно зал). Думаю все дело в изначальной уверенности в себе. А вообще, на длинну тела повлиять никак нельзя и если тебе понравилась девушка выше тебя, почему бы не начать ухаживать. Моя первая любовь была выше меня на 12 см. А сейчас я в отношениях с девушкой ниже на 21 см. Когда искренне любишь человека, тебе полностью все равно на его рост)

@@andreelc3380 Все зависит от генетики. Если родители высокие, то с большим шансом ты и сам будешь высок в длину. Плюс, следить за осанкой - довольно полезный для здоровья навык. И не стоит комплексовать из-за размера, так как ты точно будешь идеален для определенного человека. А вообще, парни растут до 25 лет)
