Wouldn't it be nice to re-cover this piece on a fretless classical guitar, or a microtonal one?

This is by far one of the best classical pieces I’ve ever heard in my life. So melancholy and mysterious. You and John Williams did it justice but all credit goes to the artist himself, Carlo Domeniconi
Audience is great. I felt happy when they applauded him, great performance!

So impressed. I like it. I heard many performances of Koyunbaba and could tell you like a musician to musician: It is great.
Beautiful piece and interpretation. Thank you for sharing
You played this piece perfect! BRAVISSIMO
great recording of a top-notch performance of a beautiful piece! Thanks!
When tuning the guitar is as artistic as the gorgeously played piece.....
This piece is AMAZING. Absolutely love it!

God bless you for this masterpiece! I was struggling with afternoon schoolwork and this is the perfect piece to listen to whenever I want a 13-minute nap. The playing is incredible, and the storming ovation wakes me up everytime!
Wow that was incredible. I have seen this guy play so many difficult pieces. Im just stunned at the level this guy is on. Superb!
Epic performance! But you knew that. All by heart. Brilliant.

I like the architecture behind Simple and wow
He's so good with that guitar because it's the same one he used to play when he was a baby.
Fantastic, I saw David Russell play this in the early 1990’s and your performance was equally as good.
His right hand technique is staggeringly good.
Brandon .. This is really amazing interpretation of Koyunbaba .. Fantastic Efforts , Tone And Slurs .. Lots of love from India :)
You guy awesome dude!!!
nice man, you are an inspiration!
Does anyone else listen to Brandon play and wonder how he creates such beautiful sounds? And then you play your guitar and it sounds like a banjo?
Finally, an interpretation without all these extreme ritardando's and accelerando's. It is much better this way with subtle tempo variations

James Rawlings if you were educated in music you would know that this is not nit picking, it is using the correct term, like How the use of variations is used incorrectly in these messages, because playing with rubato is a style of playing in the romantic era as so is the bass line demonstrated in the video
Welldone !
Wonderful performance! I loved how used space/silence during your performance. Also, i appreciated how you didn't play the piece as if you were at the Indy 500. I've listened to several performances of this piece by world class players and this is by FAR my favorite performance.
this is my fav guitar piece. i want to play it!!!
Excellent!🎸👍🌟
That applause at the end was so loud it hospitalized me
The crowd at the end blew out my ears.
beautiful performance! it's my favorite along with that of Paulo Martelli
that volume and those dymanics!! and still able to tune in the middle of the piece ahah
I watched Milos Karadaglic play this piece in concert from the fourth row in 2011. He was fantastic, but this is better, more dramatic, more exotic, more exciting. The guitar sound is more varied and expressive, unearthly. Marvelous, thanks.
Very clean technique
I am from Turkey and my father is from a small province where this Koyunbaba (an alewite islam saint) had lived. The issue they don't understand is, how Carlo Domenico is influenced by Koyunbaba? Koyunbaba died aroun 600 years ago. So interesting..

I think this is the first time I've ever heard this and it's amazing. Funny thing though is I can imagine Brandon bringing out some 20 stringed monster to play this if he were doing it today!

I would love to hear a re recording done of this. This is one of my favourite pieces of music. Domeniconi himself never played this the same way twice and encouraged improvisation.

+Brandon J. Acker thank you for your kind reply. I'm studying this piece so I found your performance very interessing from a didactic point of view as well, but it is very interesting from the point of view of musicality and interpretation. I noticed the strap only at the moment! The guitar looked to be hovering by magic at first! 😂
I highly recommend you guys watch Krzysztof Meisinger version of this piece ! The best of all !
I love that new dress you bought, it sure looks nice. How'd you like that new restaurant? You know, I've been there twice.
the audience's clapping destroyed my ear at the end
