    This is by far one of the best classical pieces I’ve ever heard in my life. So melancholy and mysterious. You and John Williams did it justice but all credit goes to the artist himself, Carlo Domeniconi

    God bless you for this masterpiece! I was struggling with afternoon schoolwork and this is the perfect piece to listen to whenever I want a 13-minute nap. The playing is incredible, and the storming ovation wakes me up everytime!

    James Rawlings if you were educated in music you would know that this is not nit picking, it is using the correct term, like How the use of variations is used incorrectly in these messages, because playing with rubato is a style of playing in the romantic era as so is the bass line demonstrated in the video

    Wonderful performance! I loved how used space/silence during your performance. Also, i appreciated how you didn't play the piece as if you were at the Indy 500. I've listened to several performances of this piece by world class players and this is by FAR my favorite performance.

    I watched Milos Karadaglic play this piece in concert from the fourth row in 2011. He was fantastic, but this is better, more dramatic, more exotic, more exciting. The guitar sound is more varied and expressive, unearthly. Marvelous, thanks.

    I am from Turkey and my father is from a small province where this Koyunbaba (an alewite islam saint) had lived. The issue they don't understand is, how Carlo Domenico is influenced by Koyunbaba? Koyunbaba died aroun 600 years ago. So interesting..

    I would love to hear a re recording done of this. This is one of my favourite pieces of music. Domeniconi himself never played this the same way twice and encouraged improvisation.

I'm studying this piece so I found your performance very interessing from a didactic point of view as well, but it is very interesting from the point of view of musicality and interpretation. I noticed the strap only at the moment! The guitar looked to be hovering by magic at first! 😂
