    I curious about Maton guitars, how does a model like Tommy Emmanuels signature model EBG 808TE sound for it's price point compared to Yamaha, Taylor and Martin guitars in the same prince range? Although they're not classical I'm sure you guys are great at rating the sounds of those as well

    Lagrima is one of those pieces that grows with you as a guitarist. It serves you from your first year to your 50th year and only matures more beautifully with your playing with time. As beautiful as Brandon plays this here, it'll be only more complex and rich when he plays it in 30 years.

  • @simonguitar9028

    @simonguitar9028

    It really is a wonderful piece of music. I've played it for about 25 years now, and the melody is just so beautiful still. Amazing how emotionally sad the opening movement is in a major key, and then the B section in E minor just weeps tears, Lagrima in English is Teardrop, and that is such a perfect title.

    Absolutely crazy how good he is at this. If you do this again I'd love to see him try this at someone else's shop with guitars he hasn't been hands on with.

    I'm really enjoying these. We need a season 2 with a "hard mode". Marshall went too easy on Brandon for round 1 by giving him very different styles of guitar, and for round 2, maybe Marshall should be sitting far enough away that he can't smell the guitars. It would be great to have him react to guitars from outside his shop, although there are some obvious logistical issues with that. Perhaps a sponsorship or collaboration with a guitar shop in another town.

    Wow! unbelieveable familiarity with the instruments, to understand them on such a deep level as to pick them out blindfolded. Much respect for this craft(Luthier) and to you Brandon for your skill as a player.

    This was fun to watch. Marshall was so amazing here, he can distinguish what country the guitar is based from.

    I can listen to Brandon for hours without being bored, just delicious to the ears... And that Miguel Rodrigues guitar, I could feel it even trough the speakers...
