kowa YF 2 6x30 binoculars
a real quick and unplanned opinion on the Kowa YF II 6x30 porro prism binoculars. (140mtr at 1000mtr field of view)
filmed on the windy south eastern shores of Lake Connewarre in Victoria Australia 28-5-2023.
of note this day was a beautiful pair of Brolgas soaring past just before I filmed, many Australian shelducks (mountain ducks) and a swamp harrier stirring up the ducks.
I caught up and made the short journey to the lake with my sister and it was an all around brilliant day birding this location and a paddock just north of here for some white necked Herron, wood ducks and grebes

I wonder how they compare to my 8x42 athlons.......? Ill have to check them out.

I had a pair of Athlon Midas 8x42 they were quite a bit better than the Kowa YF2 but also a bit over 600 aud vs 180 aud.
Did you by chance compare these to the porro prism Opticron Savanna binoculars? Cheers!
