It depends on which city you're in. It's like different states have different laws in the US.

@@henrylee8366 Thanks for your quick reply. However in the states bikes are legal everywhere. What I want to know is if things are getting worse for bikers or better. I was riding in Shanghai back in 2008 but heard it is now no longer possible. That is not an improvement. After the handover I was riding in Hong Kong and Shenzen but apparently it is also banned in Shenzen now.

@@user-sy5yw2dj3k It's getting worse, some cities simply ban motorcycles. Cities like Beijing and Shanghai only allow local number plates to ride, while they no longer release new number plates. A 京A plate, which is a Beijing local plate, can easily be about 10k USD. But at the same time voices from the people that motorcycles should be unbanned is growing faster than ever. I hope things could turn well soon.

tough call here also, the price is right and I know the quality is good enough, but I can't my mind wrapped in the idea of supporting CCP, then again, almost of the stuff I have and purchased are made in CCP, that has to change, unfortunately the US Government is not helping
