That line would have never occurred in a French or Italian film. You’re familiar with both cultures and aware that women were not meant to chase. Movies shape our way of thinking, especially when we’re still teenagers and afterwards it takes time and effort to shake off the behaviors that have been imprinted on us.

I weirdly have never been jealous of any couples because I know from personal experience that intense romance is most often toxic. I have watched my parents for 30 years, they never split up but couldn't live with each other too. I'd rather be single my whole life and hook up from time to time lol.

I totally know what you mean LOL. But at the same time, Even the couples who are so boring that they never fight (and yes...there are couples that never really fight like that...) I’m not even jealous of them 😂🤣 they seem boring AF and there is NO intensity there either even when it comes to things that you want to be intense. So I’m just gonna focus on my relationship and make it the best it can be, Idgaf about anyone else’s relationships lol

Scott has moved on to younger women who can't give him the family unit he wants. Kourtney has moved on and has found another great family to add to her own, poor Scott might feel pretty sad that Kourtney has moved on "better"

I think it's an unpopular opinion. I genuinely think they will get married and live the rest of their lives together. They are amazing friends and they are clearly passionate lovers 😁 l think he is the person who is giving her stability, finally, and l am happy for her.

I agree. Travis seems to have had an interest in her & looking for a serious relationship. Kourtney has gone through the nightmare with Scott, had her fun with Younes & sees Travis as a good fit when she came around. She's a relationship person. Scott was a nobody. She gave a decade of herself to him.

I’m happy for them. They seem like a good match.

@@bigwhy6845 hahaha thank you! I tried explaining this to my brother, that people display dominant/cooperative behavior depending on the environment. For example, maybe at work, I am more cooperative and compliant because I work in a team. But at home, if I have kids and run a household, I'm more dominant and lead. It just depends on the given group. Take even a powerful man who is a CEO. I could make some bets about his wife probably being the dominant one in the relationship haha I don't like the whole alpha/beta dichotomy because people think it's a zero sum game and it's also just a really unhealthy way of viewing people/relationship dynamics in general.

Difference between my now boyfriend and my ex: My boyfriend now makes me laugh more often than not. My ex made me cry more often than not. And because I'm genuinely happier now in my own relationship, I am genuinely happy for other couples :)

I came to say essentially the same thing. First, I love that you've got yourself a good man. They can be hard to find! I can totally relate. I'm also (finally!) in a great relationship now with an amazing guy, and it makes a huge difference on my perspective on this. Being happy and secure becomes a filter we view the world through. And the filter itself colors our thoughts and actions, making it easy/natural to be happy for others.

You never know what goes on behind a couple’s façade. I was idealising my friend 5 year relationship which looked « goals » and when she broke up with him she told me he was super controlling and selfish to the point to tell her what to eat and not to eat. She actually was really repressed in that relationship and she confessed to me she was jealous of me because I could live my early 20s to the fullest and she didn’t. Sometimes the grass is not always greener on the other side

This is especially true for men who are confident, charming and charismatic to the outside world - making all your friends fall in love with him as well - and yet, the complete opposite between four walls. Having had a relationschip like that myself I’m now less impressed with facades and stopped idiolising them as a result. Everyone has their own battles to fight…

Almost always the most miserable couples are the ones always doing their Pda's stunts in social media. Happy couples don't usually need to show to the world how much they love each other every 5 mins.

I like seeing a couple genuinely in love. When people are all giddy and affectionate, I think it’s sweet. We need more love in the world. ❤️

I understand how their PDA can make you uncomfortable but I really don't agree with bodyshaming Kourtney. She's not taking those photos to get her 'best angle', she's taking them because she's in love and wants to capture those beautiful moments!

She looks so happy and in love.

I actually like their relationship and I think it’s because I see my relationship in theirs. This happens when you date shitty guys without knowing it and then you meet THE guy and he’s such a gentleman and so dedicated that you ask yourself “who was I with before? The bar was so low” and you RADIATE that without knowing. I’ve caught family members, strangers staring at me and my bf because him and I are in this little bubble of ours and that scares people because unfortunately our bar is so low that we just pair up to have someone or to “build” not find someone to add to our happiness. That’s what my bf is. He adds to my happiness. He ISNT my happiness. And that’s the key. He adds instead of subtracts and that’s what my exes did. They subtracted. It’s a beautiful thing

“Perfect” is right to be in quotations. There’s no such thing, there’s the honeymoon period, then there’s the social media facade. Not saying their all not happy in their own right but people have to stop being in awe of these “perfect” couples.

I actually like these two together, I’m sure Kourtney hasn’t felt this way about somebody in forever .

Same here, i don't get all the hate this couple gets. He seems like a really sweet person and i feel people judge him based on his appearance. I love seeing this side of Kourtney :)

This girl in my town Always looked so perfect with her boyfriend on social media and they just seem so cool where they talk to each other their pictures I couldn’t even imagine them ever getting into a fight they just seem like the ideal couple until I became friends with the guys sister and she basically told me that every time she met his girlfriend which was only three times she was always low-key fighting with him and mad about something so they were always passive aggressively fighting and then after that I was just like stop being yourself up over people whose relationship you don’t even know.

The pda is instigated by Travis. He's very amorous. Always has been. He seems genuinely into Kourtney & there's some teasing there too. Kourtney is also enamored & the connection is intense. Travis apparently has had an interest in Kourtney for awhile. I think he saw something in her for a more serious relationship he's been avoiding since Shanna. His interviews are interesting. He doesn't like to have girlfriends around his kids. He has a sweetness to him & Kourtney has always had about her as well. I think they are genuinely in love & it's very passionate & they are really enjoying the physical aspects now. They've known/been friends for over a decade. They have a good foundation. We shall see. I like both & think it's a great match. Knew Travis from Meet the Barkers.

I mean it would be a cute match. They both have kids, he has a real career and they go to church together. After the way they treated Kourtney she deserves to be happy. Hopefully she doesn't let her family ruin it. Watch them all start to dress like him now 🙄

To me it just looks very frantic, like they might just be experimenting, bit it looks like they’re losing themselves in the lives and personalities of these men. Like they’re absorbing these people. And that never bodes well.

I’m a part of super in love, very synchronised marriage and I know my sister gets a little bit miffed when my husband and I are around her and her husband who bicker and snipe at each other mercilessly. I know they’re exhausted from having two kids, running a business together and having zero time for themselves, so if sniping at each other and side eyeing my husband and I gets them through the day- so be it, they’ve been together for 20 years it just works in a different way. The reason my husband and I are so synchronised is that we’re grateful for each other because we’ve both previously dated complete human trash in disguise and now know what we’ve got is awesome. Neither of us want kids we’re on the same page so we don’t have that added stress or financial strain. And we still go on dates together, we work on the spark ⚡️ we’re probably insufferable to watch but we went through hell to find each other and it’s not taken for granted. He battled and beat cancer in 2019 and it made us see that it could have turned out differently and not to worry about the things we can’t change 👍

They are probably in the honey moon phase and I honestly swear they are loved up and happy. But let's see after two years when the luster wears off. Whenever I am in a relationship I post a lot not because there is something wrong just I am happy. That is what I see when I see Kourtney and Travis. She deserves it after the drama with Scott.

Eh. I don’t think it’s an age thing necessarily. I mean the French hang on camera at the UFC fight, OK that’s really cringe worthy, but I also didn’t do that when I was 20. I think it’s just some thing in someone’s personality. I think your demonstrative and shelby like that, or you’re not. It’s like how people act when they’re drunk. You don’t do anything drunk that you haven’t thought about doing sober.
