Koshi Chimes: A Great Sound Healing Tool + Demos of all Combinations!

Музыка

In this video we show you everything you should know about koshi chimes, plus we demonstrate all of them individually and in every possible pairing.
*Order Koshi Chimes at didgeproject.com/koshi
Koshi chimes are popular for sound meditation, yoga classes and sound healing. They provide a warm, rich ambience and are available in four scales associated with the four elements (wind, fire, water, earth). They sound beautiful individually or together. The chimes can be hung and played by the wind or held by hand via the attached string and metal ring.
The koshi chimes are hand-crafted in France. Eight metal bars of different lengths are fastened with silver at the sound board (bamboo) on the inside of the instrument.
Models (color is denoted on the body of each instrument in the “o” of the Koshi logo):
Ignis (Fire), red: G, B, D, G, B, D, G, A
Terra (Earth), green: G, C, E, F, G, C, E, G
Aqua (Water), blue: A, D, F, G, A, D, F, A
Aria (Air), yellow: A, C, E, A, B, C, E, B
Which two scales sound good together? The short answer is that they all work well with each other. The designers of the koshi chime clearly designed these instruments so they can be played together in any combination. In this video we demonstrate every combination of 2 Koshi Chimes.

    I'm spoiled, i suppose. I have a much larger wind chime that has a much more resonant and sustained tone. These sound more like a toy than a meditation chime. There are much better choices than this.

    Just be careful with the woo aspect. One person's "healing" melodies are another one's sickness melodies... I love wind chimes myself, but there are those out there who absolutely loathe them, so don't inflict them on the entire neighborhood. ^^;
