@Hunter Vonnegut You got me to listen.... I wish them the best in their career!
I was there. The closer you got to the stage, the more impossible it was to stay in one spot. The crowd swept you up whether you wanted to go or not. The more intense the music, the more intense the crowd reacted. I learned that if you're at a Korn show you aren't merely an observer. You're a participant. The crowd is deeply linked to, and affected by what they do on the stage.

It's truly an epic moment in music history! If I had to follow KORN here I might decide on a career change cuz no band on that Woodstock lineup had that much energy in my opinion!! 95-2004 KORN was a steaming locomotive that came off it's tracks but had no emergency brake!! Saw this live at Allstate Arena in March 2000 Had no clue who the hell they were. We went with our 16 yo son. So glad. Been a diehard fan since. Mind you in 2000 we took him and a couple of his friends to Ozzfest, on my B-day, we had 6 Backstage passes! That was sweet! So who else here will be 65 years old next week???? LOL Sadly, much of the great shit from the past will not be taken into the future. sux

The intro to blind at Woodstock 99 was absolutely fckn bonkers!!! Insane! Such a good song to open up with. ARE YOU READYYYYYYYYYYY?!
I miss these days a lot. Makes me sad how much life has changed....
when the song drops, I get this feeling in my stomach that cant be replaced with anything.. watching that crowd respond together like that. Moving a crowd with music.. nothing like it in the world!

Bro I was there in the middle of that wave of people with my 15 good friends (and the woman who became my wife).. I still get chills looking at it and it is almost surreal that I was there. Greatest times of my life. No regrets.

xtremeone4 I'm sure you did ya crazy ass. yeah, females getting touched up you can see from just watching on youtube. And Flea from chilli peppers yelled at everyone for doing that.lol Also what were those fires like during their performance.
i was there and nearly got crushed trying to get as close as i could to the stage and i was still pretty far away. loved every moment and just saw korn last week in concert and they still bring the same energy as they did in the 90s. true living legends.
Wish I could experience something like this. I was born in 2000, just hearing the crowd in unison “what if I should die!”
How can someone not like this? This is mayhem, this is chaos, and all under control. Innovative.

Reminds me of Joey Jordison.😢😥 I'm still heartbroken even almost a couple of weeks after his sudden death. I will miss and love him forever. I ♥️ both Slipknot and Korn. They're like my stress-relievers and wound-healers. - A huge fan from the 🇵🇭, Philippines.🤘🤘🤘

Listening to this on sunday night 2024. It still sounds great two decades later.
Nothing is stronger than love then a Korn crowd
I've been to a shitload of concerts in my lifetime, the opener to this is the best I've ever scene. Perfection.
Love how the flares went up with every "ne-ne-ne-ne" on the intro

Korn's crowd one of the most intense ever!! The blind moshpit omg 😅😅
Why do I love when this man barks into the microphone it’s so fucking good
Those "JUMP-DA-FUQ-UP"-riffs are so damn groovy and that's awesome.
Whats crazy to me is that everybody in that crowd is in their 40’s-50’s now!! My mom was 23 at the time, she wasn’t there but just at an example!!

Watch videos from the original Woodstock, or, for a more apt musical example, early Black Sabbath gigs. Think of that crowd!
Such an awesome intro, are you ready?!, crowd goes mental. I love it, the hype, the choice of song, the energy of the music. Life before smart phones was just better.

I don't know about life, but concerts were certainly a lot better. Audiences were into what was happening on stage not on being a shitty documentarian.
Man I’m 20, I wish I could go back in time to experience this fucking show, last year I saw Slipknot and it was one of the best moments of my life, being a part of this crowd would be a dream come true

I used to think disturbed playing in the 2008 rock am band concert was scary but you can definitely tell this concert was way better.
Yes, we are in 2022...that was in 1999...I'm so fucking proud to watch that show on TV! I'm so fucking proud of you! That wave man!!! So fucking awesome! I'm proud of you god damn it!
I must watch this 5 times a day
As my I've grown my taste in music has changed, so I think Korn is not my favorite band. But in a sense they are my favorite band because they're my first metal band that I fell in love with. Its Korn and Jon up until about 10 years ago that I grew up with and fully understood and helped me through my deepest moments of depression. I will always listen and will always listen to these old school sounds. Thankyou Jon for being your true you with your emotion and being real and giving to the world. Such love and passion! Peace!
