I was there. The closer you got to the stage, the more impossible it was to stay in one spot. The crowd swept you up whether you wanted to go or not. The more intense the music, the more intense the crowd reacted. I learned that if you're at a Korn show you aren't merely an observer. You're a participant. The crowd is deeply linked to, and affected by what they do on the stage.

Just the energy alone is so insane I've watched on KZread 100x n it still gives me goosebumps so you can only imagine what it must have been like being there? It's truly an epic moment in music history! If I had to follow KORN here I might decide on a career change cuz no band on that Woodstock lineup had that much energy in my opinion!! 95-2004 KORN was a steaming locomotive that came off it's tracks but had no emergency brake!! Fortunately I got to see them on 1999 Korn/Rob Zombie tour which was epic! They are still going strong today mostly I think cuz of Johnathan Davis always moving forward! True legends! Rock on!

Being there at 19 was such an unforgettable experience. Still get chills when Jonathan screams "are you ready?!" Had a disposable camera with film for 12 pics. That is what documented our Woodstock 99 weekend, and until we got home and got film developed didn't even know if there were any good pics. Fortunately, there were some good pics from that trip which got framed and hang in my home office today, 22 years later.

We were VERY CLOSE to the big scaffolding you'll see in the middle with tv cameras at the top. MTV had been recording a few shows or something just a little on down from the top and people started ripping plywood off of it and that's where it came from when Fred durst saw them surfing on it and mentioned it. What they weren't showing though is a mad rush of security going over there and evacuating everyone off of it. It was very tall, and one point that shit was swaying and leaning BADLY!

Whats crazy to me is that everybody in that crowd is in their 40’s-50’s now!! My mom was 23 at the time, she wasn’t there but just at an example!!

Watch videos from the original Woodstock, or, for a more apt musical example, early Black Sabbath gigs. Think of that crowd!

Such an awesome intro, are you ready?!, crowd goes mental. I love it, the hype, the choice of song, the energy of the music. Life before smart phones was just better.

I don't know about life, but concerts were certainly a lot better. Audiences were into what was happening on stage not on being a shitty documentarian.

It amazes me festivals of this size are dead. I’m lucky to see max 60k people at one venue. They do not want us gathering in masses like this we can seriously do some damage

As my I've grown my taste in music has changed, so I think Korn is not my favorite band. But in a sense they are my favorite band because they're my first metal band that I fell in love with. Its Korn and Jon up until about 10 years ago that I grew up with and fully understood and helped me through my deepest moments of depression. I will always listen and will always listen to these old school sounds. Thankyou Jon for being your true you with your emotion and being real and giving to the world. Such love and passion! Peace!
