My grandfather Truman Robertson started a Bible camp in 1956 in northern Wisconsin. Called Fort Wilderness. My dad just retired from camp 2 years ago. We had similar experiences. I met my wife there, so did my dad and my brother. It was a great way to grow up. Serving on staff. I love the pod cast. I listen everyday.

One thing I loved about the movie was no awful previews. It was wonderful.

I LOVE when Phil shows the sentimental side always making clear without you two then that child would’ve never been here. He shows how tender he is when he does that often. He is so proud if his boys and the legacy in his family. Really special!

I LOVE THE DUCK CALL ROOM. Watch every week. So great!

I think one of the problems with marriage is people don't get married young enough. When you wait for the right time, it never comes. The longer you wait the more likely the body counts will rise.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Duck Call Room podcast, never miss an episode and have even rewatched most of them more than once…I wish they were on more than twice a week! All that said, it isn’t a focused bible study type podcast so not sure it falls into the right category for the KLove award. It is highly evident and wonderfully refreshing that the guys all love Jesus tho. Godwin and Phillip can really bring the Word when the situation arises and they as well as Jay Stone, Martin, John David are awesome examples of “regular guys” leading their families for Jesus. And Uncle Si’s infectious joy and wonder at God’s creation are pure delight!! I believe they are truly lights in a dark world, but I don’t think they are formal enough to win that particular award. They need to give a “bringing simple joy and laughter to the world” award ❤❤❤

Not sure what you mean by formal enough, but the guys get the point across about Jesus in such a real and truthful way , that is just amazing to me that they are on the podcast, and also that they are famous but dint at like it for one second. I choose real over formal any time. God bless

*Absolutely* The Duck Call Room should win an award. I never miss an episode, I never have to fast-forward through a diatribe. There's a lot to be said for drawing people to the Lord in the fellowship-based way that they do. Korie, your wisdom is refreshing. Instead of calling Duck Dynasty 'our little duck show' (which is condescending as all get-out to the viewers!), you recognize it as the vehicle to spread the goodness of Christ. Good show today. ❤ I must share this story! In 2003, I had my son Matthew. Some of my favorite scripture comes from the book of Matthew, and the name meaning is "Gift from God". He truly is just that; a true gift. His dad insists on telling everyone our son was named after Matt Dillon! Gunsmoke is one of his favorite shows. (Matt's Dad) It's a great little story we enjoy sharing. Family of 3; from Oregon; fans from the beginning; God is so good! Blessings abound.

My husband is 36 and my son is 11 and they loveeee Gunsmoke. 😂 So in this house our kids know Matt Dillon.

My son's name is Matthew Dillon Cartwright.....my dad is a big gunsmoke fan and my father in law's favorite was bonanza so with our last name being Cartwright he is gunsmoke and bonanza all rolled into one
