Why does it bother people who don’t understand? Speaking tongues and the capacity to receive it requires a certain measure of humility. we understand in the carnal mind in sounds gibberish and it sounds stupid… that’s why God uses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise.

'If any man speak in an unknown tongue let it be by two or at the most by three and that by course and let one interpret. But if there be no interpreter let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself and God' 1 Corinth 14:27-28

When I quit drinking beer, when people come over to socialize, we do tea instead. We call them tea sessions. It's awesome hearing you guys talk tea! Like shop talk, it's tea talk! Lol

It really annoys me when people call me a liar. It's been over a decade since I have been concerned about dying. I actually look forward to seeing Jesus.

“If, therefore, the whole church comes together and all speak in tongues, and outsiders or unbelievers enter, will they not say that you are out of your minds? If any speak in a tongue, let there be only two or at most three, and each in turn, and let someone interpret. But if there is no one to interpret, let each of them keep silent in church and speak to himself and to God.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭14‬:‭23‬, ‭27‬-‭28‬ ‭ESV‬‬

The lack of gifts, 1 Corinthians 14:26, is one of the reasons churches are trash.

The scriptures commands to only speak in tongues when someone is there to interpret.

People who "speak in tongues" always talk about being filled with the spirit but I can say, without a single doubt in my mind, that it isnt the Holy Spirit. These people are under complete spiritual delusion.

If you speak in tongues it don't nothing to edify the body. We are at church to edify God and each other. Paul said when you do this you are as clanging symbols. 1 Corinthians 13:1.

Do pre-marriage sperm-theft women tend to like McAlister's Tea? I offer a single "yes suspicion" vote. What is a "Mc A lister" to an oocyte sperming lab tech? Do T Gallons become G Shots? The evil women overcame because good men were too discreet. Disagree? I never put A and Lister together until writing out this comment.

There is no secret prayer language according to scripture, tongues was assigned to the Jews, and it was used with the purpose of giving the gospel to the Jews in their own language. Today everyone speaks the same language in church there is no purpose for it and it’s no longer assigned to the Jew since there are noJews, going to the temple today in our church

Today after explaining I wanted half sweet and half unsweet tea at McDonald's, the tea didn't look quite right. The manager asked me if I needed help, looked at the tea and said, "Oh yeah, that has lemonade." Then she made it with all tea. To me, McDonald's has the best and cheapest tea.

I grew up in a Pentacostnal, Holiness church family, on my Mommas side and, my Daddy was just a Southern Baptist, as a kid. I used to hear some of the finest leaders of our church, get filled with the spirit and, pray in tongues . It didn't matter to me, what he was saying, I've ALWAYS remembered that feeling of GOD, ALL AROUND US. UNDOUBTEDLY, THE VERY BEST FEELINGS, I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED. I remember asking my Dad about it and he always told me, "It was the LORD, dealing with the person",,,, NEVER EVER STOP IT, watch it and learn how to let GOD, touch your heart ❤️

I came to know Christ in jail in 2013 by reading a book, "Overcoming spiritual blindness" by James P. Gills MD. The veil was taken off my eyes. Heaven came through for me. Now i have a home a husband and a lovely year old daughter (Zoa), and a stream of income that get me $25,000 monthly. I can support God's work and give back to my community. God is absolutely more than enough!

Speaking in tongues for ones own edification, and corporately is good. It's when the gift of tongues is in operation that an interpretation is needed and proper. The spirit of prophecy will always bear testimony of Jesus. If it isn't doing that, it is not true prophecy.
