I agree with that comment that Unashamed podcast is like going to a home Bible study - the discussion, the humor, the feel of a home setting with a group gathering together to study Scripture is what makes this podcast so appealing and different and enjoyable from all others. One more reason to love this show: I deeply appreciate how they corrected themselves on the “Saul to Paul” thing - i.e., it was just a Roman/Jewish name thing and not a name change because of his conversion. They modeled such humility in admitting that error. It obviously wasn’t an essential of the faith, so it wasn’t that big of a deal, but modeling teachability to their audience is huge. Good for them! They are pro-evangelism, pro-gospel, pro-Bible study, etc. Keep up the great work!

Please pray for my brother and I. He is an amputee. I'm 60. He needs a new wheelchair and we need repairs on our trailer. I have been trying for a long to to get help. My cries have fallen on death ears. My parents death left us in a financial mess. They were ministers. They served over 50 years in ministry. I helped them. The Lord has helped us so far. Yes I have reached out to the churches in my area. No response. Thanks for listening love the study.

Yes! A Home Bible Study, but with 3 Pastors!!! Any good Home Bible study usually only has one pastor cuz they need to spread out among the church’s small groups:) I am a woman who has LOVED and watched every single episode of Into the Woods and then Unashamed, and of course we have all of Duck Dynasty on DVD:) I am married and have a son so you’d think I’d want girl time, but I yearn for Christian Male leadership and have been praying for my husband for 20 yrs and all the DD dinner prayers and Unashamed show forwards were a big help in my husband finally stopping drinking and this time with God…he just celebrated 8 mths sober and it’s like we are newlyweds! Thank you all for such encouragement and humor over the yrs! Oh and my son loves his DD boardgame with quotes giving insight to everyone’s personalities and the board hunts as you gonaround the board🥰God Blessed this family to in turn bless so many of us! Praise God!

Please share your understanding of modern day 'speaking in tongues'. I do not personally have that gift and was told once I was NOT saved if I did not speak in tongues...needless to say, that has nagged me for many years. Thank you for your opinion on this.

I used to believe in a pre-trib rapture but that's because I was listening to other people and not asking the Holy Spirit to reveal it to me. 2 years later, as my husband and I were reading Matthew 24:29-31, the Holy Spirit revealed it to me and made perfect sense✝️🕊🙌

We have been in the last days since Jesus walked the earth.

Paul was a Herodian. Romans 16:11. He is also chased from Damascus by King Aretas who was at war with the Herodians due to Herod Antipas divorcing King Aretas' daughter and marrying his cousin Herodias who had John the Baptist beheaded. She was the daughter of Aristobulus IV. Paul says salute the household of Aristobulus as well as salute my kinsman Herodian.

I love you guys and love your podcast and love the Lord. I don't like the NKJV, though. If someone new starts on it without guidance and community, they will get it wrong. Like some verses, it changed since you have been saved to while being saved, implieing being saved is a process and not saved when you repent and believe in Jesus....and implying its saved by works instead of faith without a good bit of context and guidance and plenty of other things in there I have noticed. And at the very least we should try to read above a 3rd grade reading level and some point, and it does force you to go slower and actually think about what you're reading to figure it out. Instead of glancing at pages and assuming things. I agree with all your doctrine, bsaides having to have baptism. But that's a technicality, I think everyone saved will have one, besides small examples, like the thief on the cross not being baptized, and Jesus said he would go to heaven. I think once saved, you'll do everything in your power to be baptized if possible, but if you die on your way, technically, you're okay. So I don't want people to be like eh it's OK to not baptize, I won't do it, since technically it's not salvation but more to receive the Holy Spirit. I am a KJV guy.

I want to watch this podcast but I get so upset because Al won't let anyone finish a comment, even his dad. So much good bible teaching, just let someone finish what they're saying.

Saint Paul says AN ATHLETE IS NOT CROWNED UNLESS HE COMPETES ACCORDING TO THE RULES. Elsewhere he states there is one faith and one baptism. The orthodox is translated as true worship. I love your interest in the Bible and all of your families and tv shows. The orthodox don’t interpret scripture themselves. They have an unbroken tradition of interpreted scripture by the saints and church fathers. Dancing alone is a great book by frank sinatra about his conversion. I’m Not trying to convert anybody .
