Korean Style Patchwork Curtains for My Wonky Garden Shed: Part 1
I want to try a patchwork technique I've never done before in making a set of curtains for my Wonky Garden Shed we build for my Mom before she passed away. Bojabi is the artform, Jogakbo is the style and Ssam Sol is the stitch. This will be a three-part mini series because I am trying to keep my videos shorter these days. In this first part, I am going to introduce you to this Korean Patchwork and make a small piece by hand. In part 2 we will begin the curtains and do this on the sewing machine. In part 3 we will finish the curtains and hang them up in the Wonky Shed.
Here is a three part YT Bojabi workshop I watched that helped me with the history, terms and technique I highly recommend you check it out! • Bojagi Video Workshop ...
I also want to thank everyone who have continued to stay subscribed as well as all the new ones since I have been taking a break. I am back now, planning on making content on a weekly basis and I also will be starting a new Patreon page (projected launch January 1st!) if you want to check that out.

New Sub here, Sorry to hear about your mom. Prayers for you and your family. Before my mom got really sick, she made me promise to keep up with my quilting and Photography. It took me a while before I got back into it. She so loved my quilts. So so glad we have you back. You have so much knowledge to give and share. Thank you for that. Much Love, Rosalie

It's great to see you back and creating more video's. I loved the idea of what you did in this video but I think your next video will be the one to inspire me more, as I'm not much of a hand sewer. Hope it's coming soon. Your Mum's tree house is beautiful, just like that sky - a place to make beautiful memories :)

Yes. Part 2 and 3 will be out this week. I wanted to show both hand and machine since it was a traditional form of art and they still do it by hand but yes, its not practical for all. Coming soon!

I am so very sorry to hear about your mom's passing. My thoughts and prayers for peace are with you and your family. 🙏🏻🌺 What a beautiful tribute to her and what a way beautiful way to honor her. ❤️ I loved seeing the slow stitching. I don't have the patience for it but it is lovely to see. Thank you! I don't have an instagram account so I'm glad to see you back!
