For Kyoung Jun who said Charlie must be writing these songs while humming, he's right. He actually uses his phone to record small segments that he hums or sings (lalalala) as ideas and then expands on them later on when he wants to write a new song. This is nothing new, other songwriters are doing that as well (I think Loco was doing the same thing in Hyena on the Keyboard), but it's a nice way for him to be revisiting ideas as a songwriter. He's actually done an interview/documentary which is on KZread(I think it was for some kind of music magazine....Rolling Stone maybe?!) where he shows how he made Attention and shows his software and all the bits and pieces he did and his thought process into every little detail. I remember he said sth about the bass where you'd be expecting a build up at some point but because that's how normally it's done and it's so common that people expect this, he purposefully had it drop to defy those listeners' expectations and it had a great effect. Go watch it seriously.

Yes Jungkook did a cover of this song and there's also a version with jimin singing Selena's part. Charlie and Jungkook also sang this live together in an award show (i forgot where but it's a korean award show) 😊😊

Yes Jungkook did a cover of "We don't talk anymore" they also sang the song together (I forgot which award show, perhaps GDA?) But my ultimate favorite is when Jungkook AND Jimin covered "We don't talk anymore" together. their voices just sound so good together, I still listen to their cover till this day.

LMAO I finally found another person that heard 'turtle' instead of 'dirt' in Attention. I literally thought Charlie Puth said "throw this turtle on my knee", which makes ZERO sense, but I was too stubborn to look up the lyrics so I went around for ages not knowing it was actually "dirt all on my name".
