Its funny because that same guy also reacted to Taylo Swift's songs and he thought those early Taylor Swift songs which had the same "cringe"lyrics to be magical and fine but with Bruno its just cringe haha Just a funny observation

Artists like Bruno Mars literally FORCE you to vibe with their songs. There's no way you don't find nothing charming about their songs. They're all a masterpieces. Moreover even if you don't like his songs, you will come to love him from his performances, especially his live ones. Guy swallowed up every era and every genre he stepped in. His consistency is NO JOKE. The person who said his songs aren't getting old anytime soon was so right. I can imagine myself vibing to everyone of his songs even years from now. His media presence is still low-fi. Guy surfaces out of nowhere, drops bops and then dips for the next god knows how many years. P.s. A part 2 can be made with all his other hits. Like Liquor store blues, Finesse (remix), Locked Out of Heaven, Treasure, Grenade, Runaway baby, talking to the moon, when I was your man, the other side, Gorilla, etc. I know I skipped bops he featured on but that can make another part :)

It's funny that he mentioned that his songs "won't die in a trend" even within the next 10 years, because a lot of Bruno's influence comes from performers like Prince, Michael Jackson (as well as other singers from the Motown era), etc. The same album featuring '24k magic' pulls inspiration from older styles like new jack swing and 90s/2000s R&b. This pretty much just proves the point that this style of music is truly timeless. Also, since they liked Silk Sonic's "Leave the Door Open", it would be cool to see them react to Anderson Paak!

You speak my mind. There is a song of which lyric really creeped my out: Shape of You by Ed Sheeran (sorry not sorry to his fans). The lyric tells about a man being attracted to a woman he met in a bar--he courts her, they roll in bed, then he falls in love along the way. I hate this song because it feels like the man puts emphasize on the physical attraction before anything else (and the lyric literally confirm this). In Bruno's songs, it's always feeling that comes first. The man just loves the woman so much that she becomes perfect in his eyes. And he always makes sure she knows all of this before leading her on deeper stage of relationship. This courting process is so very gentlemanly done.

Watched him at a New Year’s eve concert once and we were at the front as well. One of the most magical nights of my life.

Just sharing my memory of when I first got into Bruno Mars, when he was featured in B.O.B’s song I remember asking my sister who the heck was singing, he sounds wonderful. And then found out he was coming out with his own album and I literally bought everything from his debut from the t-shirt to a signed poster AND Polaroid etc. he literally has become such a legend and I’m so happy for him and just get so goddamn excited every time he comes out with a new jam!

Bruno Mars is such an amazing artist. It doesn't matter what song he is singing, he will surely make us feel the emotion of the song. And these are just his happy songs. I'm sure they will cry if they listen to his sad songs.
