The only thing i envy about mixed people (biracials) is that y’all get to grow up with two cultures. A beautiful combination of food, music, traditions, etc. Plus most are fluent in more than two languages which is so cool to me. If I could choose what to be mixed with it’d probably be Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese or Jamaican😭

@@francisvergara1297 I can imagine, being mixed race is very different from being half but of the same race. Everyone should do a DNA check no one is 100% one race. Because we have no idea who our ancestors mingled with a few generations before. It’s pretty interesting Ps I take back my statement some people clearly don’t have any other DNA my first statement applies to people who do or who got unexpected results from their DNA test because I find genealogy interesting lol 😂.

When I was young, we didn't really treat mixed raced kids all that differently, mainly because I'm from an international city where we speak Engljsh Cantonese and/or mandarin. So we have almost everyone speaking 1-3 languages in my school and basically the locals can speak 2-3 languages and non locals 1-3 languages. And on top of that, we are influenced by both the western media, the local culture, and maybe where our parents are originally from. Which basically is similar to being a mixed kid anyways. Those who are mixed are almost being envied cuz they can adjust better when learning a new language

They’re just saying that to appreciate the mixed people in this video, but they probably wouldn’t actually want to be mixed because then they would be outsiders in their country. I saw a video where a lot of Japanese people (which has a similar type of culture as Korea) thought mixed people were attractive, but some of them said they wouldn’t want to be mixed because they wouldn’t feel a strong sense of identity.
seeing other people who are also half black half filipino in real life is so rare, but i’ve seen it a couple times on social media and it makes me so happy omg
