For whatever reason I used to struggle with the T4/5 German cruisers, especially the Nurnberg. They were obviously good ships because I saw other players doing quite well with them. Now that my cruiser play has improved I've revisited these ships and they're great. GG Tbull...enjoyed watching!

6:26 note on this: The marblehead has 10mm bow plating which means that the königsbergs 150mm AP is enough to overmatch (and citadel) right through its bow, no need for HE especially when the marblehead is stationary Edit: this is only a knitpick, great game otherwise

Konigsberg and Nurnberg are both fantastic. The entire German cruiser line from tier 4 and up is kind of underrated, in my opinion. But it’s my favorite line so I’m admittedly biased.

Love Konigsberg, however I also find Emile is very slippery and capable of dodging a LOT of damage if you get caught out in the open or have to turn back behind cover in a hurry. Nicely played by the way!

Been playing the Wyoming recently and a Karlsruhe is a pain to fight. Shots go right through, taking far too long to sink. Love the Konigsberg though, it’s attack angles are excellent. Good game Tbull!

Nice vid....I had a lot of fun in the Okhotnik, Molotov and Izmail. I really enjoy Vaquelin as well, Nelson and München in T6. T7 is still a bit hard for me but Suyuza and Ochakov work well.

One of the many things I’ve learned from ya TBull is toss some torps down range. It is a Hail Mary play but effective when it works.

When an aircraft carrier is attacking your radar will help you shoot down more planes and your fighter planes will fight the fighters that are coming in at you making your ship almost impossible to be sunk by a plane

Warspite is my go to for a good game. Monarch is one of my favorite at tier7.

Spawned in with this ship for a bureau project and got 6 kills and like 165k damage It was unreal, citadels were non stop

10:25 it's worth noting that your recon planes will engage enemy torpedo bombers/ dive bombers. throw them up there if you have them.

Best ship for me to play is Odin with AL Scharnhorst (AL Baltimore and Cunningham inspiration). Accurate (enough), fast reload, good traverse, good speed, good rudder, decent AA, torps, German Sonar, 5 heals, turtleback. Most complete overall ship IMO. Other favourites include: Farragut, Pensacola, Fletcher, Baltimore, Atago, Konigsberg, Gaede, Prinz Eugen, Hipper, Gneisenau, Emile Breton, De Grasse, Charles Martel, Jean Bart, Gangut, and Pyotr Velikiy.

Love this ship! I had a 17 citadel game with it.

This ship is such a Killing Machine! Use Käpitan Zur See Von Müller with Lütjens and Mimbelli as inspirations and you will Eat enemy Kumas and Omahas for breakfast, if you run into battleships no worries, use HE, aim for the superstructure and burn him down as you close in and use torpedoes to finish him off!

Nice video. Love that ship. Curious that you switched to AL Hipper from Von Muller. Since you are asking my votes for most annoying/concerning ships at tiers. Tier 3: Iwaki or Nassau; Tier 4: Giulio Cesare or Kamikazi; Tier 5: T-61 or California; Tier 6: Sharnhorst or Akatsuki; Tier 7: Jean Bart or Yudachi

Konigsburg is a damn good tier four. For cruisers I would add Marblehead at the tier.

Other Great Kberg feature is 360 turrets. Fantastic for dodging and keeping dpm high.

I really like playing the Karlsruhe. Nimble enough to dodge and does good damage. But the Konigsberg is awesome. I’m scared of most destroyers. They are so fast.

I took that into arena the other day and it was one of the 1v1v1v1 matches, first two ships I went up against were kirovs showing their broadsides and they got deleted and then I got the last ship with torpedoes while contesting the cap

Ever since I put Albert Gleaves on the Monaghan I’m having very successful battles. No twist and track but I feel like that makes me concentrate more on my positioning and guessing where the enemy destroyers are located.

I tend to agree...I mostly use Burke on my US destroyers, as I find I rarely miss TnT, and the guns turn into lasers with the added accuracy. I also put Gleaves on Monaghan, and it's a very good torpedo platform now...plus, when you do get caught by enemy DDs, you're still a US destroyer, and can usually hold your own.

I have Gleaves as an inspiration on my IJN DDs. My Fubuki and Akaysuki now have 12.1 km torps, which can be hilarious.

After the last Arena season, I believe that the Nassau is pound for pound one of the strongest ship in the game.

Before the last season of arena I would've agreed with you. I had a lot of success with the Kaiser though & thought it went toe to toe pretty well against it. Thats not to take anything away from the Nassau. When I'm in a match with one I always want to know where that thing is!

I find the Wichita is a hard cruiser to deal with from a Battleship perspective along with the Atlanta B. Slammed 3 torps from my gneisenau into Wichita's bow and she kept coming, she bounced high caliber shells off her bow also when she went charging at me. That things possessed

Love the German cruiser AP. Just unlocked the Yorck and it has me missing the tier 4 and 5 counterparts though.

There are a number of very good T4 cruisers. Konigsberg is one, though I still maintain Marblehead as the best at tier. It simply has better survivability due to maneuverability. The K-berg is somewhat sluggish in turns and no cruiser at this tier can tank significant incoming fire. Avoidance is your best bet. Another T4 standout is the Kirov and, like the K-berg, it's because of the guns. They're extremely lethal on other cruisers and quite accurate. The downsides are similar, too. Sluggish maneuver and Schlitz beer can quality armor. Also, it's less effective as a DD hunter, but has higher top speed which can aid in positioning. Lastly, anything you can say about Marblehead can be said about Omaha. The main differences are premium status, torp range, damage, number of tubes and Omaha has slightly better AA.

Luv konisberg like Nurenberg as well but it’s not as strong as konis,,,

Favorite ship is the West Virginia, that thing is absolutely filthy, decent firing angles and the guns are insane, obviously angle cus it’s a little squishy but super typical to 1v3 a division while my teammates chase around a kiting cruiser at their spawn while I defend ours

I do love this ship yesterday i played 32 games for 29 wins i cant do that in any other ship not evan close normally i dont do that good today was only 16 wins from 22 games but im still happy with that average

I remember when I first played it and thought I sure hope the rest of the German cruisers are just upgraded versions of this. To bad that wasn't the case.

I would definitely throw München on that list of best ships Tbull. That thing is a menace regardless of what it’s facing. And of course Lenin, because that ship is super balanced right? 🙃 Also, noticed you didn’t launch any fighters to counter the CV bombers. How much do the Catapult Fighters help?

I prefer Kirov in terms of T4 cruisers. Pound for pound I’d say Farragut is the best ship in the game.

I love the Konigsberg in ranked or arena, it's so fun for play compared to Karl or Nuremberg

Since earning just a few weeks ago, some of my best games have been in the Ochakov. The play style of it really jives with me. As does the Fiji. I seem to have a mental block with the German cruisers.

The real Konigsberg didnt last long in the war. Damaged by Norwegian shore batteries and then sunk by British aircraft in April 1940. 18 of her crew were killed in the British attacks.

Powerful ship. Though I have better results with Nurnberg for some reason. My favourite and highest performing tier iv cruiser is Emile B.

At tier 4 my favorite ship is the Kamikaze

IMO the best ships I've used are the Isokaze, Konisberg, T61 and the Fiji.

Konigsberg is absolutely fabulous, especially at T4. I personally have more fun in Emile, due to speed, DD armor, and slightly better HE, but Konigsberg is neck and neck... Best T5? hard to argue with T-61, but again, the Gaede just FEELS better...probably my preference for the 150's...Best T6? Fiji...others are fun, like Scharnhorst, Z-39, Helena/Boise, but Fiji just has the total package...Don't have enough T7's to comment much, but Tirpitz and Atago are good fun...starting to get the hang of Z-23 also...

My best or favorite boat is the flint and the boat that pisses me off the worst seems to be the Japanese bbs. They seem to be the ones that kill me the most.

Best Non-Premium cruiser at each tier 4: Konigsberg 5: Dallas 6: Fiji 7: Cleveland

Von Mueller has pretty much the same build, just doesn't have the ingenious perk in slot one

Coming from roughly 2,1 M exp on that ship, I'd say yeah, pretty much agree, she is the best ship in the game.

Wichita definitely the best tier 7 cruiser. Great Armor, Great Guns, Mobile, Good AA. No torpedos tho

The von Mueller build is almost the exact same except it won't have twist and track in the first perk slot

Konigsberg was a fun ship to grind for me and I still enjoy playing it. Gaede on the other hand...feels about as agile a freakin tug boat.
