Yeah Kong 🦍 has been fighting since the day he was born. Fighting who knows how many Skull Crawlers and other creatures of Skull Island, fought the alpha Titan Camazotz, fought Godzilla 3 times before his 4th fight with him in this movie, fought Mechagodzilla and ripped it's head off and has killed plenty of Hollow Earth creatures. Defeated 3 other Ape Titans like they were nothing and knocked one out with a single punch just before meeting Scar King. So yeah nothing would make Kong 🦍 scared at this point.

This is honestly like the new movie 😂 Proximus as Skar and Noa as Kong

One thing I love about this is that you can just sense how terrible the Scar King is. Nearly every shot with him in it, he’s either an imposing figure in the background or towering over everyone else due to the camera angle. The only time he’s not either during this whole scene is when he’s sharing the camera with Kong, who is no subordinate or slave of his. Honestly I just can’t help but think how this interaction would’ve gone if the Scar King was in his prime. He’s millions of years old here, probably close to Godzilla’s age. Kong basically has almost every advantage here. He’s much stronger, quicker, and he’s faced many difficult opponents. Be it the insatiable stubbornness of the Skull Crawlers or the overbearing, indomitable ferocity of Godzilla, Kong definitely has more experience holding out against opponents more powerful than the Scar King. The only advantages the Scar King had, aside from Shimo of course, were his skill and whip. Being a tyrannical ruler of an ape titan species for millions of years, the Scar King would almost certainly have some experience subduing titans similar to Kong, only far weaker. I’m not saying that Scar King in his prime would destroy Kong or anything, but the fight would definitely have gone a bit differently.

Now i know why Skarr seems familiar. Hes more like Drago Bludfist from the last How to Train your dragon movie. Hes smart. Tactical. Relies on the fire power of others(his army of dragons vs Skars army of Lesser Apes) he even uses a tool to tame a mighty beast.

Skar fought Godzilla thousands of years ago during the first titan war when he was younger and stronger, in this movie he was older and past his prime and still defeated Kong in all the fights inside hollow earth. In the great apes life span Kong is like 25 and Skar would be like 65-70, i hope we get a cameo of him in the Monarch series or in a flashback from the first war in future proyects of the MV. Dude was a Kong versión of Caligula and was badass.

Raise your hand if you thought in the beginning that kong was he last of his Kind

Love how much this scene conveys without any character speaking. The Skar King is very old and experienced but is clearly not used to being challenged. His posture is slacked and lazy, showing he has no fear of Kong, despite Kong being larger and more imposing. The fight isn't shown in this video, but the Skar King is smart enough to realize Kong is physically stronger than him, so he fights smarter by using his agility and smaller size to outmaneuver him. But, as I said, he isn't used to being challenged and likely hasn't been in a fair fight since his war against Godzilla, so his overconfidence allows Kong to take him by surprise and start gaining the upper hand. The moment he loses his advantage, Skar King stops fighting fair and calls in Shimo. Kong would have won this fight if Shimo hadn't been there.
