Wow - awesome garden, Im working on rebuilding my back pond into a Japanese garden. This is very inspiring. BeingHonest8 - Asian gardens are the best! Don’t understand whole anti Asian thing - I have a front garden done Asian style working on back Japanese style. I have studied karate , Kungfu - Vietnamese and Tibetan and Kenjutsu. Perfection. So well done. New subscriber, just come across your channel courtesy of You Grow Girl channel. The craftsmanship is exquisite. The breaking down of the sloped gardens to various rooms a joy to see. The zen garden is my favourite, together with that view from the conservatory. Such neat lines, clean angles. A calming vibe with so many different views. The planting with the beautiful paths works so well together with the hard landscaping. I'm a palmy, exotic-style garden guy but your amazing garden makes me appreciate that cool chilled-out ordered Japanese vibe. Full marks and so well done 👏👏👏

Really nice job, I’m going to make something very similar for my wife in the near future, it’s going to be a surprise for her I’m not sure how much of it I will be able to hide until she finally gets curious enough to investigate what’s taking up all my free time, I know I’ll only be able to get a small fraction done before curiosity gets the best of her but I believe I can get about 25% to maybe 1/2 of it finished before she busts me, I am so excited about this project which is probably still a year away because I am doing a major remodel of this house inside and out and her project will have to wait until I get the important stuff done first, but these videos of yours are a big inspiration and thank you for sharing them I’ll probably watch all of them, 😊 thanks.

I'm seriously impressed I love my pond and garden and building and I can see you do to,You have some fantastic plants,I especially like the pine tree and the gunnera over by the pond I have a large one over my pond as well leaves over 3ft, You could charge admission your garden is wonderful,You have tamed that tricky slope and turned it into something wonderfull, I might have to nick a couple of your ideas I'm about halfway through my garden revamp, We'll done mate can't wait to see more

love this garden. i do think the conservatory could do with a roll up window, much like a garage door in order to keep the doors from getting in the way of the view. but thats literally the only thing i could think to improve. amazing work. i dont want to think how much its cost you.

Thanks 👍🏻 the red paint is Signal red and black gloss from Johnstone’s paint and that’s because i can get it local. A good timber protection is black ducksback from Cuprinol. Hope that helps.

Hi just wanted to ask as you are local do you know of anyone that comes out to take a look at the health of your koi ,I had a pond for about 12 years we have drained and cleaned the pond ,a couple of the koi are about 12 years old and one seems to not be eating and sluggish any help or links what be appreciated thanks x

Hi Steve sorry I haven’t got back to you, I am still trying to work this KZread stuff and can’t find all the comments. The sliding door is timber and a shower curtain £2 from Asda. The timber is cut in so it’s a flat surface then clear sealant and staple the curtain on. Hope that helps. Thanks for the nice comment 👍🏻👍🏻

Thank you 👍🏻 it’s difficult to say as I moved in 2001 and I started to level the garden out for the kids. Then in 2009 when the kids were to old to play in the garden I started to transform the garden in to the Japanese style. In 2018 I had to replace all the wooden structures and I got one more to do as they were all rotten. So on and off 20 years of on and off digging and moving soil. Hopefully finish it by the end of the year. 👍🏻👍🏻
