Man he was very humble & very intelligent. Such a family man & a sweet heart.

Life is just horrible sometimes.... Poor man, he won't get to see his girls grow up. One is too young to even remember him, another is lost forever & will live only in her mother's heart :( I hope KB, Gianna and all the ones who lost their lives that day rest in peace 😔

Just dreams I’m mourning for the survivors - in this family, Vanessa and the 3 girls. They’re the ones who now have to somehow live without their husband and daddy. The ones who are gone ? They’re in heaven (let’s hope) - they’re feeling no pain. It’s the ones left behind, the ones who are grief-stricken here on Earth, they’re the ones my heart aches for. And not just Kobe’s family either but all of the families of the others on board that same helicopter. ALL of them. Just thinking of the number of families who in the blink of an eye have had their lives turned upside down, inside out, never again to be the same .......💔

He didn’t want to rest on past laurels, but create reasons to rejoice about new ones, which he did so soon when he became an Academy Award winner. It’s hard to imagine what wonderful gifts and sources of inspiration he would have given us in all of the books, stories, lessons, animation, and movies he was working to produce via his new multimedia company. It hardly seems fair that we’ve been robbed of this man who was redefining fatherhood and their role in the lives of their children, one that far exceeded just being a provider, but one that was always showing up for their kids, wanting to be a part of their mental, intellectual, spiritual, and physical growth, in his case to make his girls strong and confident individuals. How can you not love a man that sings Moana to his baby girls while changing their diapers, that alone spells devotion and says everything we need to know about his character. A major loss for his family and for the rest of us he brought along for the ride. We felt like we knew him and that’s why he’s left a big hole in the hearts of so many.

Loved seeing him like this. Such a shame he won’t get to sing to his girls anymore. He was definitely an amazing father and I pray he and Gianna are together in peace
