0:53 Holy shit. Listening to Overtime and delving deeper into KNOWER's past, then hearing that funk part... I can't wait to hear more connections from the past to the future.
dig that they repurposed part of this arrangement for a new tune :)
Hey guys... lets take a popular song, twist it, turn it upside down, put a nutty chord structure on it, and then call it a cover... I think I am in love with KNOWER.

that part deserved it's own song
when a cover is miles away better than the original
The voice, the rhythmic, the harmonies, the production : all is diabolic of precision, beauty and inventiveness in this group. No slag, nothing to throw. It's too strong !
Woah! You turned this into "Overtime"! 😍
Funkiest thing I've heard in a long time! You guys rock!
Unbelievably awesome “cover “ which takes some of the elements of Burn and turns them into a whole nother creation. Louis Cole is one of greatest composers of modern times and Genevieve is incredible. Louis is the greatest funk drummer since Greg Errico Love you guys so much!!

The only thing I can genuinely say against LC is that he has personal clichés that I wish he didn't lean on so often. But those clichés are just so goooood!
Knower and Dirty Loops is the best music I've heard in two decades.

Way to take a tune that just kind of lays there and crank up the level of rhythmic and harmonic sophistication to make it a musical masterpiece!! The groove at 2:05 kills!! THE FUNKY SKELETON !!!
I've just watched about 20 vids of Knower because Jonah of Dirty Loops mentioned that they were doing something similar. I definitely hear that here. So far, this is my favorite.
I keep coming back to this. The big verb sections are insane!
All of your songs from the past year make me want to play Mario Kart.

This is tight! And the chords are superb! This is AWESOME!
Wow, this is what Herbie Hancock would sound like if he recorded Rockit today :-) I love this cover and Knower rules!
This grooves so hard! I play this if I want to get instantly happy.
At some point Louis Cole met his Shades and it was love and he said he'd never take them off ever again.
Can't stand how much I love you guys. Great work.
flippin love those chords!
i love how you make every instrument and the vocals becoming a part of the rythm section!
The amazing thing is that I LOVE the KNOWER covers WAY more than the originals. : >
I really like this! Makes me think of 90's house music.
My god... this is a whole other level of music... totally out of this world and far beyond awesome !!! Thank you KNOWER !!! \o/
Love the throwback atmosphere to "Gotta Be Another Way"! Killin as always.
This band is a revelation
Once again the funkiest badass groove + sophistication from you guys. Mmmmmmm.....

Oh hells yeah!
now, around 5 months ago people were giving great reviews for KNOWERS cover of this song. but now that the song gets constant radioplay, the knobheads have decided that this cover is a travesty. the sad part is that this group likes to play with sounds and people just weren't ready for that. that's one of the reasons why i subscribed to them.
Infreakingsane! You guys are amazing!
louis cole is one of those freakishly talented humans i come across every so often
This reminds me of doing overtime tommorow. Love it.

I feel like the base DNA of "Overtime" is in here somewhere, getting ready to grow into it's own song
I ended up liking it...good sound, cool&different

You can hear the basis for 'Overtime' within the chords and rhythm.
0:52 cool seeing this section make it into Overtime!

Chords any one I'm trying to figure them out but if any has em please share em
THAT CHORUS GROOVES SO FUCKING HARD
holy sh*** ;o
overtime!
I've been subbed to you guys for almost two years and I just figured out that you sound a lot like Janet Jackson. Also I really dig this groovy neo80s stuff you've been doing but "like a storm" is still my all time favorite.
I don’t know why but when she crooks her shoulder at 2:04 is kind of a turn on. Those chunky chords are also. Love this one.
What are these chords? :DD Reminds me of Super Smash 64.

Amazing reharmonization technique and idea. Electronic jazz fusion ei..haha
I can hear overtime in this song lmao
Where Genevieve says “gonna let it burn, burn, burn..” is Louis Cole’s “mean it” too lol
