Something a simple as a byte, and yet incredibly precise! I don't own a PICO yet, but hopefully soon!

Please turn up your input gain on your microphone. I have to max out the speaker volume settings just to hear your videos.

Interesting I could hear perfectly. Was it muffled for you?

Not muffled just too low of a input gain or Db. I'm in a quite office with my speakers set to where I can hear almost everything just fine when the volume is set right in the middle. In order to hear this speaker well I had to turn the volume all the way up. Then when the video was over I have to return it back to the middle position otherwise everything else is too loud. All microphone systems have a gain input in Db. This one is set too low almost like the microphone was on the camera and not wireless on the speaker. If you are the editor of this video you should be able to tell that the audio at the very beginning (engine starting) is at a more normal volume and the speakers voice is so low you can't make out what he is saying without turning the computer speaker volume all the way up. Keep in mind, no headsets here just speakers in a quite room.

Excellent presentation , here my challenge (bit offtopic) I want preciseley locate some wood eating worms deep into a 15/15 cm pine beam , a sustainer pillar in my workshop that annoying crunch sounds all day + destroys the wood : stethoscope ? signal analysis on scope of more microphones ? , what else ... ?

Steve I have a question. Let's say the steering rack or control arm is made of aluminum? What attachments Pico created or have so we can connect the probe to it? Like chassis ear clamps seeing that there is various metal composite on a vehicle

Thank you for the feedback and question: For aluminum I have used Bondloc B454 or Loctite equivalent. Alternatively we can clamp the accelerometer securely to the device under test or attach using the threaded hole within the accelerometer. Given the accelerometer is of "Mass Transfer" design, for this test, it can be mounted securely at any angle and still provide sufficient response. I hope this helps, take care.......Steve

Hello and thank you for the feedback and question. In the video I have used the accelerometers I keep for case studies and taken the opportunity to add colored installation tape to help with easy identification given "black" is the only option to purchase at present. I have added a new feature request for colored accelerometers and will include your feedback too. Thank you again
