I’d seen you demonstrate this in one of your longer KC videos, but couldn’t remember which one. So, I recently “googled” and found it online. This is the best and the Knit*Minute is a keeper. Thanks for all that you continue to teach us.

I use the paid KC and have learned so much from you - I hope to navigate it with more confidence (like you) - but even at its most basic it is a tool I have learned I can’t live without.

Is it possible to put patterns into Knit Companion that are not on Ravelry?

Can you buy knit companion or you can only subscribe to it?

You can use kC for free, or you can get the subscription - no option for buying. I believe they decided to go with a subscription model because it gives them the opportunity to constantly update and add more features, while keeping the users up-to-date. :)

Yes - the two platforms (Apple and Android) have all of the same features in knitCompanion now.

I tried to download knitCompanion using the Apple App and Google Play App to my older Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 2015 tablet. It told me that these Apps do not work on my device. What tablets are you using in your videos?

I've never heard of that happening before, but you may want to contact kC for help. My Android tablet is Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite - it isn't especially powerful or new, and kC runs fine on it. You might want to make sure your tablet is fully updated, maybe that will help.

The gold tablet that I use in other kC videos is an iPad.

The gold tablet is a regular iPad, more recently I use an iPad mini in my videos.
