I used the free version for a long time but I'm happy to see that after I made the decision to go to a paid version (Android) there's updates and things are still being worked on. That makes me want to keep giving support to such a great app!

I can tell you this - I'm working with kC, and we always have the next video in mind. The "next" video is always based on updates they are making to both platforms. They are always working! The app is great now, it's exciting that they are always working to expand and improve it.

This is amazing. I have re-draft the sleeve of the sweater I am knitting because the pattern is way too tight on my arm. It was making my brain hurt trying to figure out how to rework the decreases.

Many thanks for your weekly moment of 'Knitting Zen.' The feature which allows one to calculate different sleeve lengths is *Priceless* -- as I seem to change sleeve lengths with nearly every sweater I make. *Thank you!*

I love this idea and it now makes me want to buy an ipad and stop using my kindle for patterns but I do also use my laptop and wonder why these types of apps aren't available on laptops :( Due to eyesight problems I am having to use my laptop more and more and like you I hate having to do the math all the time lol especially on the socks I just made for my husband lol love your vids btw, very informative and easy to understand.

Can you tell me how to erase a note? Also my first project I downloaded I downloaded the pages separately is there a way to merge the pages? Would you do tutorial on these types of issues?

Was wondering, I crochet, so far this works with crochet. Just wonder the calculators will it work with Chrochet stitches. I'm thinking the # of stitches to cast on would be the same as the # of chains to start with.

As long as you swatch and get your crochet gauge and plug it into the app, I don't see why this wouldn't work! :)

Hi, I've been using KnitCompanion for quite a while now and think it's wonderful. I noticed the app had just updated - I use Android. I'm wondering if there's a glitch in this version because my row slider is never in the right spot when I go back into the app. Lucky I'm using the counter as well.

Even when I just flick back to another page I come back and it's moved. I'm working on a chart so the row counter works well but when it's written instructions sometimes you can't use the row counter.

Ok the Apple version video link feature- when I go to the pdf and click on the video link it takes me directly to KZread and doesn’t give a pop up window to name the video as you demonstrated. I’m using an iPhone.

Would love to be able to run KC on my Windows laptop as I don't have an iPad and my iPhone is too small to really be useful.

Please Staci, could tell me if it is possible to knit toe up socks with a cuff down pattern? If it is not possible, why is that please? I have wondered about this for such a long time, could you put me out of my misery Please? Really looking forward to receiving your reply. I hope you get this.

Are you asking if you can modify a toe-up pattern to be knit cuff-down? Yes, it is possible, but you pretty much have to rewrite the whole pattern. There are lots of cuff-down patterns out there. You don't have to convert a toe-up pattern, unless you really want to.

It requires the Essentials tier in Android...if you have that tier and you're not seeing the calculators, you maybe need to update the software.
