LED scanners looks and works cool, but cannot replicate 100% of the original effect.

Yes, I know. you're right. I also prefer original halogen lamps, but due to the fact that I needed to limit the power consumption, I decided to use LED:)

hi, the red panel is transparent red plexiglass. I dimensioned and had the cut at a local advertising firm.

hello, if you are able to assemble and program something like this, the total cost is low. All components are available on the market, universal casings, programmable led strips, arduino, aluminum profile type C, transparent red plexiglass - cut to size. Hi! This scanner is on the Arduino controller and programmable LED strip. length? this scanner? the total length of the profile for this scanner is 56 cm, bent at an angle of 16 degrees. fits perfectly for my car :)

I just started a school program with an Arduino IoT kit. The first thing I did in TinkerCad was make a KITT light. I saw a red LED in the box and immediately thought out Knight Rider.

hi this scanner is made by me. I used an Arduino Nano microcontroller and a programmable Arduino LED strip (can be powered by 12V). The advantage of this scanner is that we only have 3 scanner cables (+ / - / GND). aluminum C profile bent at an angle of 16 degrees. Red Plexiglas - also 16 degrees. there are 3 buttons in the box - scanner switch - daytime running light switch and fog switch. If you have any questions, I will be happy to help :)

hi, this is a scanner of my production. fits pontiac firebird gen 3. It fits perfectly on knight rider bumper :) If there would be more interest, i think i can make such a scanner for someone.
