I like it as a satin black Trans Am with Kitts wheels and white lettered tires great car that's every 80s baby's dream car well kitt or General Lee. I love those back windows on 3rd gens great work man

Pontiac is gone since 2009 but GM keeps renewing the various trademarks. If Trans Am Depot made a new style third gen, it would cost more than a house and no mechanic would be willing to touch it.

I heard a Complete Restoration of a K. I. T. T. would run a total of $65-$70,000. That's only if it's a Top Of The Line Show Car. If I was to have one built for Myself I would save up $200-$400,000 and have it completely bullet proofed. And have a self defense mode installed like someone trying to break into it I would have it armed with either electric shock or self destruct.

Nice Pontiac Firebird! It just needs a nice paint job. Too bad you couldn't make it look like the Knight Rider car. Another 20k and you might have some features down.

That's the misconception about it all. You dont need $20k. Only around $3000 to $4000. You can buy all of panels cheap from the right people. And the electronics run for 1500. You dont need a lot of money to do it. But I sold mine cause I realized there was no point to it. Waste of money.
