It’s the revival of KARR, after the destruction. KARR remained in a portable TV/boombox and then received upgrades to convertible. Love the concept, nicely done!

It doesn't seem like many people make replica's of Karr it's usually just Kitt. This is awesome.

Damn that guy was perfect as KARR...creepy as hell. I also dig the rag top look, if there HAD been another go around with KARR he would have had to have it to match KITT'S c button.

I like the conversion that was done. I like the fact that it's different since it has was built on an IROC. Plus, I haven't ever seen a conversion done with a convertible. Everyone does the T tops. Very cool.

That lime green amber color scanner look awesome with this karr black and silver paint job. I always thought a blue or lime color scanner would have stood out more in the TV series 🤔

The people who criticize your car likely have no creativity whatsoever. They couldn't build a car using their own design and imagination if their life depended on it. Do it the way you want. Looks great!

This car is pure Evil. Evil genius, that is! The fact that it's in Japan makes things all that much more interesting and has be curious!

KARR was two tone with amber scanner in season 3. it does resemble the vette paint scheme

what did you do about the upper frame rails in the front??? i know you can put camaro fenders on a TA but not the other way around because the ta fenders swoop down so low

as long as you swap everything, it isn't a problem. you also need to swap the bumper support and it will bolt right up. and you just move the clips from one set of holes to the other and you're good

Question why are the wheels different than the original wheels k.a.r.r himself like on knight rider?

because original Knight Rider wheels are very expensive and hard to find. Also, I am in Japan so they are almost impossible to find here

He's limited in his ability to get parts, and he's doing the best he can without access to components people doing KR conversions Stateside take for granted. For what he has to work with, and given that these things are labors of love that people work on over a good portion of their life, he's off to a great start.

yes. TA and Camaro have the same chassis

i watched Knight Rider in my teenage times and i was scared by Karr and loved that black silver paint with yellow laser.

The seats and some of the interior needs to be maintained.

With the silver, It resembles a vette just a bit,from a distance. Then, the yellow scanner light, we're you being harassed by police & changed it to amber color to be in compliance? It's just not the same w/out the red scanner light!!!

the amber is correct for KARR in season 3. KITT was red.

KARR and the voice made it better to me than KITT. Creepy cool bad guy with that voice.😆😁

The scanner has the wrong sound effect. Kitt and Karrs scanner sounded totally different for each other

the startup sound came from another creator and was made for KITT. however... the scanner sound after the beginning is the correct KARR scanner sound. it was lifted directly from the Knight Rider DVD episode 2 Kitt Vs Karr. but it doesn't really matter because it is not meant to be an exact replica.

Looks like a Camaro Trans Am Hybrid. The body types of both cars are virtually identical. You can swap parts from one to the other if they are the right year and generation.

@@ken0hki But is it a dedicated backup camera, or just a rear cam? Backup cams show lines on the screen to tell you where you are in relation to other objects and help with parking, whereas cameras that aren't specifically for parking/backing up, like a regular dash cam, don't have any guides.

it really depends on your area. every state and country has different laws. for me I had problems when I had the red scanner when it was KITT. the police said I couldn't have it on while driving. when I switch to building a KARR though it was never a problem because it was Amber and not red. I've also heard of some people getting pulled over for having their tail lights to blacked out

yeah, it was (and still is popular because of the car lol) broadcasted on TV Asahi in the late 80s. Kinda funny since TV Asahi also broadcast Kamen rider, and knight rider (since both share that "rider" name but no relation to each other) lol

The first one was red. And so was the scanner. He used the scanner from trust doesn't rust. It was done more to distinguish between the two cars.
