Elevate your triceps workout with the Kneeling Overhead Cable Triceps Extension! This exercise targets the long head of the triceps with precision, helping to enhance muscle definition and strength in your arms. It's a fantastic addition to your routine for sculpting impressive triceps.
Instructions:
Set Up: Attach a straight bar to the high pulley of a cable machine and kneel down facing away from the machine.
Grip: Grasp the bar with both hands using an overhand grip, slightly wider than shoulder-width apart.
Position: Kneel down with your back straight and core engaged. Your knees should be on the ground and your hips in a stable position.
Extension: Keeping your elbows close to your head, slowly extend your arms overhead until they are straight.
Pause: Hold the extended position briefly, focusing on squeezing your triceps to maximize the contraction.
Return: With control, bend your elbows and lower the bar back to the starting position, maintaining tension in your triceps throughout the movement.
Repeat: Complete the desired number of repetitions, ensuring smooth and controlled movements.
