It's not obvious at first, but ya he's pretty honest. If they gave him fast pokes, like i13 he'd be too good. the fact that his offence is kinda slow is what keeps him in check. More of a defensive character unless you are at the wall, that's where the fun begins.

@@KazuyaKai1012 Paul can only get that damage if he gets the wall + counter hit + rage. that is a very specific situation. in the open, he only gets b1, 2 after that counter hit. Paul is much more honest than you think. Now he does have very good damage with rage + a counter hit that is true, but I would argue a lot of characters have good damage with rage and a counter hit.

He took his anger out on gen for those dawood loses

All of knees characters in tourneys tend to have good pokes and bust damage when they open you up, even when they drop combos

That's the downfall of being a super technical character at high level. Pros don't want to pick super technical characters because they are more inconsistent. So to be used in pro play with any kind of frequency, technical characters have to being extremely high power level. Bryan is likely high tier, but not top 10 or anything. So it's not worth it for someone who isn't a Bryan main who is constantly practicing Bryan's execution to use him in tournament.

TMM both stance ( sand step or something) and ws 1 guarantee 12 frames ( f2, 3 punish) , window is almost impossible to hit for stance 1 and you usually do the 10f punish 2,3. or for mixup you do 2,3 stance, stance cancel etc

After the RA cancel, the opponent wasn't on the wall and in the air right? Also, he sidestepped left before deathfist to realign. Dunno if it affects anything. *edit: I can't replicate it either...

TMM needs to do commentary on atif butt vs heera the other day. That was insane.

Bro Paul has been competitively in since release! Luffy, Justice, Spero Gin, AK, Glaciating... Knee literally beat Arslan Ash, after he lost to him, with Paul. He is one of the most obnoxious characters in the roaster in terms of tournament performance. Every patch whenever he got a nerf, he got 5 buffs instead at the same time. Just watch 06:42.

You have to angle the death fist otherwise it wouldn't work. Knee did it by back dashing before doing ra, and sidestepped right death fist after RA cancel.

Not even once. Weird right? He basically opted for ub2 or df2 to handle all of the lateral movement. I thought it was weird that he didn't use qcb2 (even at the wall) or f1+2 either.

They gotta nerf paul SS3. A fast low that launches on CH should not be -12. It should be -13 at minimum, but i think -15 would be fair. He has other low pokes.
