Klipsch RF-7 III Review Thoughts and Recommendation

After being a long time Klipsch customer, I decided to upgrade my old pair of Klipsch KG 4.2 speakers. Check out my previous video on them here: • Budget Audiophile
Those speakers suited me well for years, but it was time for an upgrade. Klipsch's current Reference Series flagship, the RF-7 III, seemed like the perfect modern day progression from the old KG 4.2 speakers.
In this video you'll hear my thoughts on my recent speaker upgrade, an ode to Klipsch, quality products, and American craftsmanship.

Love the style of your video. Very artistic unconventional speaker review. I own the RF7 III and have lots of videos of them and other audio brands on my channel. I agree with you wholeheartedly, the RF7 III truly are remarkable speakers. Keep up the great work.

Hi 👋 how are you
how about cars sounds with mouth 4?
You're one of those people I wanna meet when travelling the world
Great video. Brilliantly done!!! I just got done breaking in my RF7 111's. They can handle any music genre effortlessly. Also worked exceptionnaly in my home theater setup. What an experiience😊😊.

Hi Orin, Thank you so much for the positive feedback! I always tell people that they really need to sit down and listen to these speakers. Once they do, they understand my obsession with them. Cheers!

You are spot on. I was one of the naysayers for a long while. Primarily because of the horns brightness in older models. Now I'd say that the RF 7's are right up there with the best today.
Been rocking the RF-3's for years, like...25+? whenever they first came out. Upgraded the drivers a few times due to damage and still sound great. Have the matching surrounds and center. But using an episode sub. Been looking at the sevens but really want to go up to the lascalas. Maybe one of these days. Cool review btw.
I’m just here for the car sounds.

I have often wondered about the Klipsch RF-7 IIIs. Perhaps I am wrong, but there seems to be few audio reviews about these loudspeakers. They look great and I trust that they do rock 'n roll well. My music library consists mostly of rock but I do have a love for classical and have built a good collection of this music over the years. My question is: are these speakers relegated to home theater and rock? Can I enjoy other types of music through them?

I’ve been enjoying many different styles of music. I would recommend listening to them at a local store and seeing if you like them with your favorite music.
How is going with Waylon?
Hey you should do a vid rally because people love it or maybe just a car sound or even put a volvo engine to a tractor
do an lt1 350sbc mouth sound
I wish I had as much subs as you
It looks like a professionally produced commercial. Still, I own Klipsch RF-7III's and I enjoy watching this

Thank you! I appreciate the kinds words.
Wtf I live in Van Buren I literally have goosebumps rn
Never heard the RF line. Have the Klipschorn, La Scala and the Hesesy, which to me are by far the best speakers on the planet!

I have the rf82 ii and I love them, I want a set of rf7iii for sure, but they are high in price, I'd love to do a comparison to my rf82ii
how much money klipsch gave you for this commercial?
Love your video. Very well done. Great concept and execution. I’m sure the new 7’s sound great. But ... Sorry to say that not a single floor standing speaker at this size will ever give you the sound at a concert, even a small-medium concert. I love hifi but I know for a fact it’s never going to sound like a rock concert. At a concert you got double 18 subs. You have line array speakers, heck of a lot of cabs. Cheers!

Thank you for the kind words about my video! I really appreciate that. You make a great point about the major differences between professional live sound and consumer electronics. It's true that you will never get the exact same experience, however the Klipsch's seem to capture that feeling really well. The sound signature is very conducive to reproducing live music. If you close your eyes you can definitely "feel" like you're there. They did a great job of scaling down the experience into your home. Thanks for watching!

They’re as close as you’ll get to “live” without spending tens of thousands of dollars on amps and speakers

Those events also take place in much larger venues, so the size of the equipment needed to recreate that sound in your living room is relative to the space. Not really a nuanced analysis - although I will agree that a couple of 18" subs will make a big difference lol

Three years ago,I came straight home from a warrant concert and put on the same warrant cd through my oppo 105,marantz pre/pro,rf72s and 2 svspc13 ultras in my 16 x30 room and my system was cleaner, louder, more detailed and only lacking some presence that live music puts out...truly amazed by the sound of theses speakers and my setup 👍...I’m a believer

Hey!
whose channel is this? john H's or john mcvickers??? im so fuckin confused!
Yo can I come and pick you up so you can make my civics exhausts not sound like a civic and sound like a Lambo
Millenial is browsing hippie LPs from Grandpa’s dusty collection (!). Lol! The Grateful Dead??? Oh c’mon! Look like paid and professional advertisement from Klipsch marketing dept.
Dead
This seems more like a paid commercial rather than a review. Top notch cinematography, but after watching the long drawn out intro and all the staged props, I cannot take it seriously. It seems like this is a funded campaign.
