This my new favorite tester! Many people in the electrical field underestimate the effects of voltage drop and the problems that come along with it!

Great review here, there’s not a whole lot about this analyzer on youtube. Thanks for going over it in more detail. The best thing about this instrument in my opinion is the voltage drop feature. The allowable voltage drop per NEC guidelines is 5 %. Working in the field for over 20 years I’ve seen hairdryers cause intermittent problems when put on circuits what are 14 gauge wire because the voltage drop being way over 5% when its being used. Very handy tool it simplifies our work by doing the math in an instant. Thanks for sharing!

Exactly! People don’t even know about glowing connections or that the NEC only allows 1.5% voltage drop for electronics.
