The ideal is golden and spot on, I've had mine for about 8 years , running residential and small commercial service calls , testing 3 wire sytem integrity and polarity along with estimated loads is a game changer.

I have Amprobe. I don't trust, because it shows me different voltage drops in the same receptacle

@@frd672000 After using the amprobe try using a trusty multimeter or clamp meter to see if it shows the same voltage drop.🤞🤞

The Amprobe came out in 09-10, when I got mine.
