i never hated him, the only original i hated was rebekah but only a few times, first time when she was willing to work with the person who killed her brother kol to find the cure without ripping her head off and then pretending that she "mourned" him , and the second time when she ploted with marcell because she though klaus was going to use his child to make hybrids and when she brought mikael to kill klaus both times first in New Orleans, then in Mystick fall.

I did kinda use to hate him but then when they told us a little bit of why he did everything he did in the vampire diaries and you learn his past u slowly begin to love him and when they told us that in TVD I liked him more bc it just explained everything but also I'll admit I didn't always like him bc he killed Jenna and did a lot more😂

That last scene with Elijah and Klaus was so heartbreaking. I was so sad when Elijah chose to die with his brother. I wanted him to find happiness but his demons ate at his soul. This series with all its twists and turns was amazing.

I love it. Klaus' story has been told to perfection. Anything more could only serve to diminish it. Honestly, even Hope has only grown lesser in my eyes after 5 seasons of her own show, due to the writing of said show.

@@margohanson xD Margo is fine, Eliot is a little bit weird. Both are fine...but as a characters. There is not a point to compare the way the actors played those roles. Joseph made Klaus unique. Summer and Hale played just good. Nothing more. I gave up watching Magicians in season 4 mostly because these two characters became boring. The rest of the season was pretty amazing (probably season 4 was the best) but two fav characters were boring as hell. So yeah. talking about them as the greatest characters of all time is kinda dumb as hell

My heart stopped when I realized the symbolism of Elijah calling him Niklaus instead of Nik or Klause because Nik represented the good and Klaus was the bad and Elijah despite everything he still saw his little brother who was both. Niklaus is and will always be such an amazing person. And the originals will always be my favorite story in history.

Facts. Joseph Morgan did one of the best acting jobs ever. It's like he was Klaus for real.

I just realized that villains like Klaus, Kol, Elijah, Rebekah, Katherine, Kai, Silas, etc. were created to be hated be the viewers of the show but ended up being the most loved.

I think he is more of a tragic hero than a villain, cause he does what he does for the people he loves even if it makes him a monster. he does what needs to be done to protect them even if it's misunderstood like his being controlling is keeping them close to best keep them safe. his character development is so good as he starts out seeming like the evilest dude ever but the more you see why he does what he does, and what he goes through he's more noble and willing to sacrifice everything for those he cares about.

He is no saint tho, having a crappy past doesn’t always justify your actions. You may not be able to control how you feel about certain things, but we are 100% in control of our actions and their consequences and Klaus almost never thinks them through. I love his character to bits, I think he’s very complex and intriguing but he is in no way an innocent or a victim tbh

Like Hope said in Legacies, "When we are young we are taught the difference between a hero and a villain, but what if the only real difference is who is telling the story." We listened to Stefan's, and saw Klaus as the villain. We learned to hate him for killing Jenna and trying to sacrifice Elena. Now we listen to Klaus's story, or more so Elijah's story, and now they are the heroes. We are now taught that they are the heroes. It's weird and stupid, but the originals has really taught me about bad and good, something a regular ole English teacher could never teach me. I thank Julie Plec for making this amazing series.

When mikeal said “you will be remembered by no one” you should have out Caroline when she said “ I will never forget you”

Klaus’ fear was what controlled him: The trauma he endured created his demons which turned him into a beast. He sought control and power as a way to cope with the agony he endured from his upbringing. He couldn’t make Mikael love him. He couldn’t make his biological father stay. He couldn’t stop his mother from harming him and his siblings. He experienced fundamental and crippling trust issues as a result, which also led to tormenting fear of the unknown; of all the what-ifs. All he wanted was for his family to be safe, and to know love. But because he wanted those things so intensely, it caused more harm and chaos than good. He didn’t know how to process loss. And it constantly brought a dark cloud upon his family and those close to him. Hope was the first thing that made him feel like he truly had a second chance. She could leave a legacy better than him, and with her the Mikaelson name could be saved. She was his beacon of light that brought with it true happiness and a love he’d never known his entire existence.

That is absolutely fantastic. Klaus is such a complex character and the video really captures different sides of him so well. The parts with Hope + the ending really moved me.

This gives me so much chills, Originals was such a great show. I wish it never ended and Klaus is the most amazing actor in the world! Before I forget, who ever did the casting for the TVDU was definitely in their bag!

The originals is actually the only show where I love all the characters. I love that there are no good or evil characters, just broken. And the cast is perfect, there is no one who could've played them better. Edit: Exept Mikael I hated him Edit 2: Sebastian Rochè is also a great actor and he played Mikael very well

There is NO ONE like Klaus man. No one. I absolutely love Elijah but Klaus is just on another level. Damn this guy is legendary..BTW this is the best tribute video 📷. How he didn't win an Emmy for this role is criminal. One of the best acting jobs ever. Btw this video should have been titled "Klaus Mikaleson the GREAT REDEMPTION" cuz his redemption is probably the greatest in tv history 😭😭😭. Plus season 2 should've won an emmy for best series 🤦

Can’t understand why I’m always sooo in love with his character ! Such an amazing character story Joseph has brought out for Klaus ! And my god the acting was spot on !!

Has no one realized that all of daddynegans videos from TVD, TO and Legacies, each character was called the name of the video. Klaus was called the Great Evil in Legacies, Elijah is called a Man of Honor all the time and he talks about his Promise to redeem his family. Rebekah's whole gimmick is that she didn't get the choice to be human and she wants to be human. Kol is called the Wildest. Like I love how he uses their core to showcase who they are and include it in the video

Everyone like this if they should make a new season of originals.
