Baby animals have an instinctual urge to consume food so beneficial as that steak is to that kitten. The sooner they grow to adult size the less their chances of dying prior to producing babies of their own.

Same. I have two little ones that have been bottle fed so they are quite the affectionate little ones ....but for fucks sakes they need to get off my plate when I'm eating. One time I was cooking and one of them tried to jump on the stove to get at my food and landed right on the scalding hot stove and burnt his poor little toe beans. Thankfully he wasn't hurt seriously, but still. He has not tried to jump back on the stove since though, so lesson learned the hard way

A fluffy little kitten eating a steak is literally so cute.
The fact that the cats eyes were absolutly dark when eating the giant steak means he was completely insane. He definetly let jack the ripper come out when he saw so much meat, and let 'er rip!
