Try the Merry Maines books by Garnet Quinn. They are exactly what you are looking for. First one is "A Shaggy Cat Story". They feature Maine Coons as the "Maine" characters.

I was just checking on why a cats whisker will start curling. You might want to goggle the reasons why a cats whisker or whiskers will start curling. Had me concerned after reading all the info. We love your kittys and Uncle Buster. I hope you get this message❤

Ok! That makes me feel so so much better!! I was trying to be private about this but did not know how to do it privately. So so relieved about "Buster". I did not want to be one of the people like his paws are cold and blah blah. Buster is very well equipped to deal with mother nature. Thank you for responding. I would worry myself so so much. You are absolutely so so nice!!!❣️

Uncle Buster is the biggest, toughest looking feline I've seen outside of a zoo or a forest. Luckily, I know from watching this channel that he is a fair and reasonable fellow, with much advice to offer the younglings.

Ada is gorgeous. She already has so much character 💕💕💕

This is totally off The Charts!! The Magical Whisker😅!! Ada is one determined Little Sunshine Kitten!! You completely surprised me with The Whisker!! Uncle Buster needs to remember Ms. Ada is extremely ambitious and determined. Buster cannot leave any evidence behind of any sheading whisker.❤❤!! Ha!Ha! When he told Ada "no magic for you then" and he was totally non-plussed when she went off and found one of HIS old curly whiskers! That showed him......

I'm old enough to appreciate the curly whisker, Buster is generous enough to share the power!

This was incredibly fun to watch! The curled whisker is obviously a powerful artifact. I wonder what the kittens need to actually use the magical skate. Cant wait to find out 😊❤.

Buster needs a helper, plus reds need to stick together. Ada is a chosen kitten.. she's gonna be absolutely more beautiful as she grows up. So glad you're keeping her.

I have no idea how the curly whiskers work. Buster usually has 1-2 on him and they fall off sometimes and grow back again 😂
