Good tips! It would also be really helpful to see both the body position/movement and the bar/kite movement synced. Perhaps as a split screen view: body shot on the left and the bar/kite from rider pov on the right.

Wrong. I wakeboarded and judged wake boarding comps for 10 years before kiting. This is just the typical kiteboarding bastardisation of wakeboarding trick names. Front flip: body rotates much like a cartwheel. Front roll: body rotates like a front somersault. Front loop: lame variation which kiteboarders claim is a front roll and where the lines are vertical and the person is really just hanging from the lines. Search for wakeboard front flip and front roll and you’ll see that I’m right. Your rotation in this video is a front flip and, in wakeboarding, is a huge explosive trick. Backroll : board goes up behind the leading shoulder. Backloop: what is shown in this video and exactly how the girl explains it. It’s not even an inverted trick just some lame flat spin which kiteboarders do at the bottom of a 12 o’clock kite and call it a backroll, because of misinformation like this.
