Atwick is a tricky place to fish as the get-down can be treacherous and dangerous if its rained. The get-down involves climbing down a muddy clay cliff and this is fine if it is dry but if it going to rain or has rain best avoid this mark.

I appreciate you taking the time to record and share your outing with us. It is a lot of extra effort. This video combines my two hobbies of kites and fishing. Your kite appears to be from Paul's Fishing Sustems in NZ. They have a great tutorial on youtube. The Kite Fishing Encyclopedia. I look forward to more kite fishing videos.

Your welcome, and yes your correct. My friend ordered the Kite and reel drum from Paul's kite fishing nz, I have included the link in the video description. He had the kite for a good few years and didn't use it. So when he gave it me I just had to try it out. Hopefully will get out soon when conditions and time allow. Currently in the process of making a delta 100 base kite. Just need the middle section to be at the right angle which I'm struggling with. But once that's made, that will be my go to kite :)

Do you think you the kite you have is big enough to handle a bait ferry? That may be a way of getting your bait out there by kite more handily by yourself. I have absolutely no experience saltwater fishing and also no experience kite fishing. I did purchase a bait ferry but have yet to play with it. I plan on doing that over frozen lakes this winter.

@@stringsteene sorry I'm not familiar with a bait Ferry, but the kite has a lot of pull and can pull out some weight. Where are you from? as I've fished the frozen lakes in Canada myself, mainly around Toronto. lake Simcoe and lake Ontario ice fishing which was lots of fun

Thanks, omg its good to see a fellow patangbazi, I also miss it too. However, they have banned it now in Lahore as too many people were dieing and too many transformers were being damaged by the lutaray who were using wire with braid to catch the falling kites. These kites with wire, sometimes were cut and falling into these transformers and damaging electricity in the area they were falling in. I do miss the patang and bloody hands 🙃

Great to see this video, seen others on KZread some years ago .like most people was wondering how you'd go about it, I like flying kites but unless you have access to an empty beach and no other water users jet ski's and surfers for me I don't think it will work. I'll keep watching with interest as your the only angler I've seen using this method 👌

Was hard work, especially when the kite fell in the water about 30 yards out, it took me 30 min to bring in as it opened up in the water (water kite lol with resistance). But next time I will be fine as I know what to do and how to do it, just this an unknown and new to me. Can't wait to use it again with 20 hooks!!!!
