Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Let's see how to make a regular kitchen knife made of no-name-steel sharp with just three stones in 5 minutes. This method suits best for cheap stainless steel knifes that you will use for any purposes without second thought. If you need to refresh them - honing rod, if you accidently broke them - you will just buy a replacement at the next door supermarket for a dollar or two.

Hi, you mentioned not to use diamond stones, I did not understand why ? Can you elaborate?

Nice to watch, we sharpen our kitchen knives here (by hand for now) as well as our shop knives, bits and work tips, so we sure understand the metal types when it comes to sharpening. We love our sharpener tools likely the mid-range one. Thank you for the micro bezel tip. Have a great week. Lance & Patrick.

It would be nice to see a video about doing microbevels, given the recommendation

Excellent idea to demonstrate how to sharpen specific knives. I have ZWILLING J.A. Henckels and Cutco knives. Are they considered to have cheap stainless steel as well and I should use the Boride PC stones on these knives?

That's stainless. You can sharpen them no matter which stones you use 🙃

Do you publish a chart that shows the best stones to use for different metals?

Love the video. Always satisfied with the result after using Tsprof Kadet Pro. However, as you mentioned before, I asked if there are any guided rods in stock via Tsprof customer service and sales email two weeks ago, but haven’t received any response. Are they busy to answer?

That's strange that you've not got a response so far. I'll transfer this to my colleagues. Our appologies.

Would stropping the knife after sharpening be appropriate for this application?

No need for stropping as we've already made a cutting edge. It's recommended after you use a knife after 1-2 times 🙃

How do you create micro bevel?

By raising the sharpening angle. In this video we're trying to explain how to do that.
