This is a super helpful little chat, I feel like there's a lack of content on jiu jitsu strategy and mindset on youtube. John Danaher's social media posts are usually my go-to for jiu jitsu strategy and analysis.
Yes its a natural human process that you can use for many things in life, to take the act, react and adjust according to your opponent and environment into account, its a feeling based training process when you have tactile connection and if you stand up on the distance it is an eye reading process, its a self correcting process. That's an awesome approach! I do impose my will most of the time. If it is a junior player, I will esse up and play. However, I do record all of my rolls. I catch a lot of things that way. I can learn in one viewing what would normally take weeks or months. - Great interview!
