Kirchhoff's Current Law, Junction Rule, KCl Circuits - Physics Problems
This physics video tutorial provides a basic introduction into kirchoff's current law or junction rule. It explains how to calculate the missing current flowing into or out of a junction. A current flowing into the junction is given a positive sign and a current flowing out of a junction is given a negative sign. This video contains plenty of examples and practice problems on kirchoff's junction rule for KCl circuits.

loving the energy in this section, so positive and uplifting.
In high school, I just learn math, English, literature so I have no roots in physics. but when I come to university I myself turned into electronics engineering so I struggle with lots of subjects. you bring Physics knowledge back to me another time. your explanation is very easy to absorb .your fundamental series help me understand the ways electricity run. thank you so much.

I owe you everything mate!I had no literally no math or physics experience as a stupid teenager skipped school became a chef and lived life, fast forward to a career change, studying engineering and in a year or two its gone from not even understanding basic algebra or sohcahtoa (my own fault) etc. To scores of 90 in phys I and managing though Phys II. Looking back this is just unbelievable, there's been many mental breakdowns through the way and hundreds of not thousands of hours of grinding, but ill go so far as to say your work here has literally carried me through these courses, I cant thank you enough.
man I am really thankful for these videos you make. Physics is challenging but you make it simple and not overly complicated.
Thank you!! Congratulations for 1M👍🏼👍🏼 Good luck!
Wow a whole lecture condensed into what I need to know. Who would have thought
Bro, you're a real one. I never finish a video less enlightened. Thanks a lot for such helpful content; God bless ya... richly
I am speechless to what you are presenting to us may Allah bless you and improve as long as you are living 🥰🥰❤️
its been seriously a long time since me wathcing you , thanks man these short videos really help me out for my revision.THANKSS!!
Fantastic explanation. A little fast on the math equation, but we get it.
this channel is always my life saver
I wonder what Kirchoff's Previous Law was like. Cant have been good since he needed a new one.

Thank you so much for this this.
Thanks for using my rule
In quantum mechanics, the fundamental constant called Planck’s constant, h, has dimensions of [M ]. Construct a quantity with the dimensions of length from h, a mass m, and c, the speed of light.

8:50 Is "I4 = 2(I3)" just an arbitrary solution or does it follow an underlying principle? Because I tried "I4 = 3(I3)" and I only got -6A for the value of I3 while you got "I3 = -8A" What is the explanation for saying tht I4 is twice the magnitude of I3? Or is it part of the given / problem? Thank you!
Thank you sir for your help

is it correct for the saying that the summition of current entering and leaving a point is equal with zero? i think this rule is for voltage, not for current. For current;the current entering a point is equal with the current leaving that point.

For the last example, if we didn't assume that I_3 and I_4 have the same direction, would I_3 = 24 and I_4 = -48? Just curious
thanks this seems pretty easy 4jan2022 7:36 pm
I had the understanding the current supplying the node (is) is of a negative value? As in i1 is -10amps? with i2 and i3 being +4amps +6amps? The source always being negative..

@The Organic Chemistry Tutor What if there has a negative current but the current flowing towards the juction. Pls exlain

Then I guess the current flowing out would be positive in that case

Then, it should be leave the junction
Came here just to learn how to pronounce kirchoff
I might as well give credits to you instead of my physics teacher when I graduate
I don’t understand why it would be a negative value if it’s leaving the junction? Majority of other tutors assign both as a positive value
What about the bodmas
module home study makes learning more harder and i hate it
