Kirchhoff's Law, Junction & Loop Rule, Ohm's Law - KCl & KVl Circuit Analysis - Physics

This physics video tutorial explains how to solve complex DC circuits using kirchoff's law. Kirchoff's current law or junction rule states that the total current entering a junction is equal to the total current leaving the junction. Kirchoff's voltage law or loop rule states that the sum of all the voltages around a loop must add to zero. You need to be able to distinguish a voltage drop from a voltage lift. In addition, you need to be familiar with ohm's law when dealing with loop rule using kirchoff's law. This video contains plenty of examples and practice problems on KCl & KVl circuit analysis.

It is easy to understand concepts at a fundamental level. I can say this by judging the level of examples he discusses, all of it is just the introductory bits. What is not easy is to be an expert in that field such that you can discuss nuances at a very specific level. Don't get me wrong though. I still thank him for doing these videos, it is very helpful for cramming students.

Superposition is amazing for current sources, but for a problem like this, easiest route is impedance matrix. Took me about 2 minutes to solve the last question via impedance matrix and gauss-jordan (elimination done on calc)
