Very few people get to experience the 4-player action back in the GBA days. If I'm not mistaken, each player can freely explore any area in real-time. A 4-player 2D open world.

The only drawback was that pausing the game paused for everyone and not just the psrson who pauses I'm guessing this switch version is gonna be exactly the same.

Honestly the perfect game for the Online service. A GBA classic with 4 player multiplayer that many didn't get to experience due to all the link cables needed. But now ANYONE with a subscription can access, try out and enjoy the multiplayer. Wish it were here sooner but KEEP 'EM COMING!

I'd think they would add the GBA version of A Link to the Past at some point. They've already released the Super Mario Advance series, despite being ports of other available games, so there's a chance. Otherwise, I'd like to see them bring back the DSi special edition of Four Swords that had extra levels in it.

I remember when people were livid about the expansion pack but it’s really not all that bad. Especially compared to other subscription services. My fiancé only pays about $10 a year while my Crunchyroll subscription is about $100 a year.

I think it would’ve been cool to see this alongside Nightmare in Dreamland given they are pretty similar and have multiplayer (it was also my original childhood game), but Amazing Mirror on its own is a W, I’ll take it. Here’s to hoping we can get Knightmare on here soon

Nightmare in Dreamland is just a remake of Kirby's Adventure on the NES. I know it's not the same, but we can play Kirby's Adventure on NSO so that's something.

This was the first Kirby game I ever played. Love this one! Giving it online multiplier is a big deal.

This is THE most excited I have been for a game release via NSO + Expansion Pack! I’ve been COUNTING the days for its release. This is my favorite childhood game and I have so many fond memories of it. The backgrounds are beautiful, the number of copy abilities for a handheld game of its time is impressive, and the boss battles are unforgettable. Solid W!

The first Kirby game I 100 percent and beat, man this brings back so many memories.

But I played it out of boredom and I was NOT disappointed especially once I reached the final boss. Became a Kirby fan ever since. But I never managed to get the 100% though… 😢😢 I only ever got around 90% and 99% on my latest playthrough.

i bought this on the Wii-U and didn't understand why we couldn't get a pseudo "split-screen" option to play with friends. i'm glad we can now play with others though

Such a good game to put on switch, for those who haven't played it it's got a metroidvania type map that all four players can freely explore, with a button to call the others to your location if they want

What's amazing is that it will become multiplayer again. One of the best Kirby games will finally be available on Switch

For those who don’t know, it was so difficult to play this game multiplayer like this on release, and even MORE so to record it all. This is an incredible addition to the switch bundle and I hope they eventually bring four swords adventure, although it’s unlikely

I have good memories of kirby & the amazing mirror.

Holy moly! This game takes me back to my childhood. Early 2000's were a great time to be a kid playing Nintendo games. Now give us Mother 3!!!

This trailer is sick, great to see Amazing Mirror get a re-release, it's a very interesting Kirby game and easy accessibility is what it needed.

Although Kirby never misses a mark with each release, none of them have topped this game's style and concept... This old handheld game packed in what felt like more content than some modern titles through an emphasis on exploration and secrets...

I love how the icons imply that Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Bowser are playing this together.

This game is my childhood. Another Kirby game, my favorite and its the best!

I loved completing this back on the WiiU (virtual console)! I'm gonna love doing it again!

Wow having the opportunity to play this game again really brings back a lot of memories.

Super excited for this, this is one I missed out on the first time around so I'm stoked to finally play it, both solo and hopefully with a friend!

Are there many games with this type of multiplayer mechanic? I can only count five and three of them don't even let you leave the level without your co-op partner

this was my first kirby game as a kid, i'm so happy to be able to play again 💕 just hearing the background music gave me such a rush of nostalgic joy

Really looking forward to this as it's one of the few mainline Kirby games I've never played! I hope we get Nightmare in Dreamland before too long. Kirby's Adventure is one of my favorites, but I never played the remake.

This along with Air Ride were some of my favorite games growing up

Smash ability was so busted in this game. Glad to see it back. Onward to Candy Constellation just for the music.

Ah, finally! The first Kirby game I have ever played! It's coming to NSO at last! Seriously, you have no idea how much this game means to me; after being introduced to the pink puffball through Super Smash Bros. Brawl, this would be the first game in the series that I'd actually play, specifically through the 3DS Ambassadors' Program if anyone remembers that was a thing. I will always be grateful to it as a result, and if you want to experience it yourself, be it alone or with friends, this NSO rerelease is your chance to do so if you haven't already!

This might be the best way to play Amazing Mirror, since we can actually play online multi-pak style! This was sorely lacking in the Wii U VC release so having the ability to play multi-player Kirby is nothing short of... well, amazing.

Finally, this is the only GBA game I wanted. The 4 player is amazing. I only ever got to play multiplayer a handfull of times when it first came out but it was one of the best multiplayer experiences I've ever had

Worth playing. this is one of the rare Kirby games where you can play as Smash Kirby while fighting with...familiar moves. The only way to get that power is defeating and swallowing Master Hand or Crazy Hand during a boss fight. What's amazing was that this is what Smash could have looked like on the GBA.

I can finally play this game the way it was meant to be played!

@golden-gamingmore5931 I'm not sure. Don't meteoidvanias have it where you gain new permanent abilities during your exploration, allowing you to explore more areas? Kirby doesn't acquire any permanent abilities as he progresses. He gains copy abilities, but they're not permanent unless you try to hold onto them through the whole game. I'm honestly not sure if Amazing Mirror's an MV or OW game.
