There's also a God Mode where all characters have only 1 HP. Or you can choose 'Ephemeral Hero', where the only change is that all characters have 1 HP, and the game is not otherwise made harder. More info about what the mod changes is on the download page in the description!

-at least drop stars don't damage you like in pre-NiDL games...- I'm surprised you didn't make a bigger deal about the removal of boss handicaps - it makes the experience much more consistent and enjoyable since boss attack patterns don't change, making the learning process more fair Even though I can't make an accurate opinion because I can't play the mod due to my Switch being unmodded and my devices not being able to run Switch emulators, this looks pretty cool, and I hope others will try it out! (Let's hope that the blindspots haven't been patched out...)

BTW, I noticed that in the video footage, food items only heal a small portion of health - did you modify the heal values, or is the amount that they heal %-based?

This looks really good! Love the speedups to boss patterns and attacks, it changes a lot about how you approach combat!

I beat this earlier on Soul Melter EX with my brother and this would be one of the hardest things I've ever done in this game (Morpho Knight EX scared the hell out of me in the 2nd phase) Really well done on creating this mod! :D

Finally a true challenge i should have known that star allies is too easy

Someone's certainly been busy with the Kirby content. This isn't something I can play due to having an unmodded Switch (also have not finished the original game either), butbin terms of playing a challenge version of the game, I would be so down to trying it one day.
