I love these types of secrets. They really just demonstrate how much care and love was put into the game even if only a few people would notice.

It's surprising how many secrets this game still holds I even feel like those rooms are even weirder than the HAL rooms just sublime

You really took Dedede through all them rooms. He now knows every secret of the Galaxy

It feels so weird that the Dedede and Midboss bonus rooms were so hidden, when they look prettier than the main stages they are built on. Wonder why they hid them so well

I’ve had my experiences with some of these hidden rooms and thought the devs put really hard work into designing areas for only the most adventurous of players. Prior to the video, I had found all of them except the Clash at Castle Dedede and Planet Caverna ones. I like the fact that they don’t contain anything mandatory for 100% so that you feel extra excited when you stumble across them.

What the hell, that is amazing, I've never seen anyone that knew this, how were even some of those found? Star allies get too much hate, it is fantastic

You know the switch news tab? Sometimes the devs would make posts there talking about secrets in the game. I remember reading about some of the methods to get secret rooms and going "how would anyone figure this out??"

It has nothing to do with hammer or movement, it's only based on time. A star appeared so I waited a bit and another appeared so I kept waiting until a door showed up.

There's at least two secret rooms in this video that I didn't know they exist so, thank you.

I’m so impressed, I never knew there were secret rooms in levels I didn’t know about like the Dedede’s Castle level.

I'm only at the first of these and I already wonder HOW I never noticed that open window. Having seen the entire thing, I must say that I only knew of the one in Nature's Navel (and the one at the very end, of course). Really an amazing video! This is what true secrets in video games are. Sure, you get plenty of "secrets" to find nowadays, but in the end those count towards 100% completion in most games, so they're not really secret after all. They're known. HAL has always been good with these true secrets, such as with the Moon in Dreamland 1's Bubbly Clouds, HAL rooms, or that UFO-room in Vegetabel Valley's first stage. The first two of these have become well-known over the years, so HAL has added them ON TOP of adding more true secrets like seen in this video. Another game with a ton of true secrets like this is Super Mario Bros. 3, and it's one of the reasons why I call it my favourite 2D Mario game.

Wth, I went as far as to do every single guest star mode with every single character (to give you an idea of how much I played this game), but never have I seen a single one of these rooms at any point (including the ending to the training room) this was an amazing video, and this just showcased just how much care the devs put into this incredible game. Thanks for making this video

Wow, I’ve clocked over 170 hours in this game and didn’t even know around half of these even existed. It really shows how much love they’ve put into this game, despite how it’s so disliked by the community (and OP’s determination to find them all!!)

Fun fact: if you see a Broom Hatter just walking around in a place you wouldn’t expect it to be, you’re likely either in or near a secret area.

Wow, I think the only ones I knew of were the lava one and the Planet -Cavius- Caverna one. The story mode may have been really short, but they put in so many secrets between these, the HAL rooms, and the dream friend portraits!

There's still a few more you missed. In one level, you can enter a secret door by hovering to the top of the screen until a small star descends down. I'll edit the comment once I remember where it is

Ive played this game for years yet still didn’t know about half of these hidden areas, I should’ve kept my eye out for some of them!

They hid all these secret doors real good, I didn't even notice them at all.

I didn't know most of those even existed, thanks for sharing this video! I can imagine that one level designer hiding these rooms and telling his collegues not to mind about them lol

wow, out of all of these, the only one that I knew about was the woodfall one! also I feel like the caverna secret is like a reference to the kirby’s adventure secret in the rainbow resort boss tower

What’s cool is that all of these secret rooms, include the dark (or could be considered ex) versions of each mini boss. So it’s like all these rooms are on the same secret level and were all intended to be the hardest rooms in the game to find

the only ones i managed to find in a normal playthrough were the nature's navel and earthfall ones (mostly because i knew 2d kirby games' habit to hide secret rooms in background details), didn't know there were much more. props to ya for being able to find them all!

I don't think I found any of these in either of the two full playthroughs I've done of this game. Makes me wonder if there are any well-hidden rooms in older Kirby games that I've been missing for many years.

Only one I knew about was caverna (and ability planet but that doesn’t count tbh). Crazy these exist, I never would’ve thought that those little holes meant something

This must be why they made the challenges in kirby and the forgoten land because they wanted ppl to search for them unlike in star allies were i am sure 98% of ppl didnt find any of the secret rooms.

I find the amount of details and passion that the devs put in the game incredible, It’s a shame that Star Allies gets that much hate despite all of this.

PLANET CAVERNA HAS A SECRET ENTRANCE LIKE THE BOSS TOWERS!?

A big reason why these secret rooms are so obscure is that some of them weren't in the base game and were added in the post-launch updates. The secret rooms in Clash at Castle Dedede, Echo's Edge, and Planet Earthfall were added in version 3.0 alongside the Wave 2 Dream Friends, and the one in Planet Caverna's Miniboss rush was added in the final update. By that point, most had already finished the story mode and wouldn't have thought to check the main story levels again for secrets. The only reason I knew about them was that the developers hinted at their existence in the Star Allies Switch News channel, which unlike a lot of other news channels on the Switch, shared a lot of fun tidbits that players may not notice, and they even shared some development details there.

The 2nd one was the only one I never knew about. That one gives me the feeling someone on the team was a Donkey Kong Country fan.

Of the actual secret levels, I found 3/4 without this video, while in Guest Star Allies, because of dumb luck The only one I didn’t know of was the one in Castle Dedede

I'm proud to say I found all of them by myself

It angers me that I've had this game for over 4 years and I'm still learning new shit. Also, thanks for not simply showing the secret areas but how to get to them, too. Except the Ability Room one because I did know that already.

I know all of these because I had like 3 games on my switch when the star Allies news channel wasn’t telling people where they were and had too much free time. I beat soul melter with every ally, did the same with guest star, I have more than 300 hours in the game as a whole

Yo same, its cool that with guest star and soul meter, they each actually congratulate you for doing it with every character

I only knew about the one in the fire area, not counting the chests you get at the end of the training room.

I knew arleady about the 2nd,4th(discovered by myself),and arleady got the huge amount of rewards in the last but I didn't knew about the others...

there is one you missed actually!! i found it at the end of the jambandra base level (the one right before the level with hyness) its at the very end. at the golden door, you should be able to keep floating up until you see a warp star, which is the door!!! :)

I mentioned in the description that These super secret rooms were excluded the HAL rooms, other wise I would be missing 3, because we all pretty much know where the all 3 HAL rooms are.

Oh wow, I never saw these before. I just played through them all and while most of them are pretty small, I did like the Caverna and Ability challenges Neat find

All kirby games are well thought out and fantastic even ones considered mediocre like star allies but like oh man so many secrets thats more than in planet robobot i think but still understandable cause this is the fan service kirby game

Wow. The only one I know is the lava stage at 9:05. The rest I have no idea they exist. Also want to mention there are few others secret doors that is not in this video. Forget which stage but I do remember few other.
